Ch.8

"I hadn't even intended to kick ass I was just going to go there and sit with you, have nice lunch with my best friend and then I was like what the fuck is going on" Taehyung explained and Jimin couldn't stop laughing.

"Where did you even learn to fight like that" Jimin asked through giggles.

He hadn't seen Jungkook yet.

"The first time it happened I asked my dad to sign me up to some classes, but I had already learnt most of it when I was younger so it was easy" Taehyung smiled.

But it soon turned into a frown as he looked down at Jimin "I put the pieces together and...I know Jungkook is the guy you've been talking to and after what I just saw I think it's pretty fair to say do not date him." Taehyung shook his head.

"Is that why you said you didn't have a chance with him?" Jimin asked "no, I only recently figured it out" Taehyung answered.

The door to the nurse's office opened as Jimin nodded, Taehyung turned around, as soon as his eyes landed on Jungkook who stood in the doorway Taehyung frown.

He was ready to say something but stopped when he felt Jimin grab his hand "could I speak to Jimin?" It'd come out so polite Jimin would feel bad if he said no not that he'd considered it.

"Yeah" Jimin nodded and Taehyung turned to Jimin eyes wide and mouth open but no words coming out "Just give us a minute please" Jimin flashed a smile

And Taehyung sighed before walking over to the door "you got 2 minutes" he muttered as he brushed past Jungkook.

As soon as the door shut Jungkook spoke "I'm so so sorry Jimin, God I don't even know what I can do to make you forgive me but I'll do anything, I spoke to my dad about the boys he's going to sort them out" Jungkook sighed.

Jimin had to look away when he spoke knowing that he'd probably cry if he continued looking at Jungkook.

"I was so scared I thought I was going to die for a second, he had a god damn knife Jungkook..what if he wanted me dead and then just like that I'm dead?" Jimin breathed he could already feel his eyes watering.

"I'm sorry, my body completely froze and I didn't know what to do, I'm sorry" Jimin could hear him sniffling that was enough to make him look up at his boyfriend.

"Why are you crying?" Jimin asked he was now crying too "because I'm so fucking sorry, and I know I messed up if I had stopped him from when he kicked you this wouldn't have happened" Jungkook told words coming out unclear.

"Come here" Jimin gestured to beside him and Jungkook was there in a second "It won't happen again, my dad said he's going to expel them so it'll be ok and we can have lunch with Taehyung from now on" Jungkook explained.

"Can you do me a favour Jungkook?" Jimin asked wiping his cheeks "anything you need I'll do it" Jungkook nodded wiping his own tears.

"Can we break up?".

"W-what..." Jungkook had no idea what to say "it's not because of what happened today I swear, I've just been thinking maybe...we could just be friends" Jimin muttered,

"Being friends should be easy for us, I just...I want to be single for a while.." Jimin trailed off it was a lie but he couldn't tell Jungkook Taehyung liked him.

"Oh...ok...if that's what you want then...ok...we'll..we'll break up" Jungkook nodded "thanks" Jimin smiled "alright..I'm...I'm gonna go if you need anything just call me".

Then he was gone and Taehyung was back, so was Jimin's tears.

"What happened?" Taehyung asked rushing to Jimin's side "I broke up with him" Jimin whispered.

Liking someone was something that was hard to stop doing, and Taehyung's feelings were stronger than like, they were so close to love but Taehyung wouldn't let himself love Jungkook.

So getting over Jungkook was going to be hard.

The next day came around and at 11 am Taehyung headed over to the cafeteria of building B, he'd looked for Jimin and when he'd noticed Jungkook sitting next to Jimin he frowned asking why he was here.

And he'd tried to stay angry at Jungkook, he was angry but that didn't mean he didn't blush when Jungkook looked his way a second too long.

It wasn't on purpose, if Taehyung could pick, Jungkook would be the last person he fell for.

But he didn't get to pick who he liked, of course, he tried to control it because he knew Jimin still liked Jungkook even if they had broken up.

Jimin seemed to be doing the same though, he wasn't really talking to Jungkook much not really looking at him, his attention focused on Taehyung.

"Do you wanna go to this park, Jungkook took me one time, it was so pretty you would totally love it" Jimin beamed "sure" Taehyung nodded.

"You take your best friend to places your boyfriend took you?" Jungkook asked "b-boyfriend? You guys were official?!" Taehyung gasped.

"I was going to tell you before I found out he went to our school and everything, but you already hated him it would have only made you upset" Jimin explained.

"Then you shouldn't have dated him, I told you no from the start" Taehyung sighed "that's why I didn't tell you, when you said 'if you wanna date him then date him' I was already with him" Jimin argues

"We never even met how could he not like me when he didn't know me" Jungkook interrupted "do I have to know you to not like you? The fact that you asked for his number was bad enough" Taehyung muttered.

"You're only his best friend calm down you're not his boyfriend" Jungkook snorted "last time I checked you weren't his best friend or boyfriend, so I think you need to calm down" Taehyung responded.

His heart was beating out of his chest due to the fact that he was even able to talk to Jungkook, but at the same time, he was getting a little pissed off.

He liked Jungkook, so much that he never thought Jungkook would be able to piss him off but I mean I'm sure we've all gotten pissed off at someone we love...

But anyway, back to the story.

"Alright, alright.." Jungkook rolled his eyes, and Taehyung was ready to say something only to completely forget what he was about to say when he felt Jimin's hand on his thigh.

And of course, he blushed, his cheeks turned bright red, it wasn't completely obvious but it was hard to miss it.

He was glad Jungkook couldn't see Jimin's hand though and when he looked over at Jimin "can you guys stop" Jimin looked between the two and Taehyung sighed.

"Sorry".
