Later, the next day at the Gassy Behemoth Television, the Fair Fairy was called into her boss's office. "You wanted to see me, Larry?" Fair Fairy asked once she walked into the office.
"My name is Sam," her boss corrected her.
"Whatever," Fair Fairy said.
"Take a chair," Sam ordered.
"Okay, I'll take this one," Fair Fairy said. She picked up a chair and was about to walk out of the office when Sam stopped her.
"Hey, where do you think you're going?" He asked.
"You said I could-"
"Sit down!" Sam ordered.
Fair Fairy sat down in the chair in front of Sam. "I'm still keeping the chair, Larry!" She told Sam.
"Look, we've had tons of complaints about your show," Sam said, flipping through the papers he had in his hands. "You're mean to the children, you're rude to the staff, you don't show up to work, you tell lies constantly, you steal people's lunches, you've got poor hygiene. You're the worst employee I've ever had."
"Oh, yeah?" Fair Fairy asked. " Well, you're bald!"
Sam was angry. He was fed up. "Get out of here!" He shouted angrily. "You're fired!"
Fair Fairy was kicked out of the building. She still had the chair that she took from Sam's office. "That's not fair!" She shouted.
At Petey's lab, Lil' Petey was working on something. Maddie was on the phone, and Petey walked into the lab where Lil' Petey was working.
"Whatcha doing, kid?" Petey asked Lil' Petey, who was looking into a microscope. A gar of Supa Brain Dots was on the table, one of the pills being under the microscope.
"I just made an discovery, Papa," Lil' Petey answered. "Supa Brain Dots contain a chemical called GR-2."
Lil' Petey walked over to a chalkboard. "In high doses, it causes supa anger," Lil' Petey said before pulling out a book with a ant in one of the picture, holding a Supa Brain Dot. "Look, this morning an ant stole one of my Supa Brain Dots. And she started eating it. First she got psychokinetic brain powers and she started moving things with her mind. Then came the supa anger!"
"I drew these flip-a-ramas to show their progression." Petey looked at his son's book. The ant had defeated another ant and beetle with a fly swatter and a shoe, and even managed to defeat a kid that had a magnifying glass.
"Okay, so what?" Petey asked.
"This means Flippy is innocent," Lil' Petey answered.
"Flippy? Isn't he that bionic fish who tried to kill me?" Petey asked, remembering the time Flippy almost dropped him into a volcano.
"Yeah, but it wasn't his fault, the overdose of GR-2 made him supa angry," Lil' Petey said. He looked at a photo frame of Flippy that was given to him and Maddie by the bionic fish. It had the words "To: L.P. and Maddie, your pal, Flippy" written on it. "That's why they put him in fish jail."
"But he's changed, Papa. He's mine and Maddie's friend now. He's even in our comic club. See?" Lil' Petey showed Petey the comic Flippy made for him and Maddie. "We make comics for each other every day."
"I don't want you or Maddie getting involved with that crazy fish!" Petey told Lil' Petey.
"It's too late, Papa," Lil' Petey said. "I already sent my findings to Sarah. She's gonna do a news story about it."
Petey slapped himself on the forehead. "Alright, let's-"
"Hey, Petey, you won't believe it!" Maddie showed up, interrupting Petey. Petey looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"Flippy's out of jail already?" He asked.
"What? No," Maddie answered. "I was just on the phone with my grandma. She's coming over to visit."
"What?" Petey asked in shock.
"Really?" Lil' Petey asked. He sounded really excited.
"Yep," Maddie said, picking up Lil' Petey. "I've been telling her about you. She's really excited to meet you. You're gonna love her."
"When is she coming?" Lil' Petey asked.
"In a hour and a half," Maddie said before turning to Petey. "Did I interrupt anything?"
"Not really," Petey answered. "Let's go."
"Where?" Maddie asked, following Petey downstairs with Lil' Petey in her arms.
"I need you two to hold the ladder," Petey said.
"Why?" Lil' Petey asked.
They were outside. Petey climbed the ladder as Maddie and Lil' Petey held it. "Grampa stole the letters from our sign," Petey told the two as he climbed the ladder with a box. "So I'm gonna put some new letters up."
"Hey, what happened to Grampa?" Maddie asked.
"He got busted by the cops," Petey answered. "He's in cat jail now."
"Oh, we should visit him," Lil' Petey said.
"Are you crazy?" Petey asked as he placed letters on his sign. "I never want to see that guy again."
"But he's your Papa," Maddie said.
"Yeah, and he's betrayed me," Petey told her.
"But he's Lil' Petey's Grampa," Maddie reasoned.
"And he betrayed you two too," Petey pointed out. "Trust me, that guy doesn't care about anybody but himself."
"But Papa," Lil' Petey was about to say.
"We are not visiting Grampa and that's final!" Petey snapped.
