Meanwhile, Petey was still stuck in cat jail. He couldn't believe it. He had to deal with the cat that annoyed him most. Big Jim. Big Jim wrapped his arm around Petey's shoulder as the two sat on the green couch.

"I'm so glad we're roommates, Grampa," Big Jim said.

"I'm not Grampa," Petey corrected. "I already told you, like a million times."

"I know, and I believe you, Grampa," Big Jim said, still believing Petey was Grampa, before booping him on the nose. "Beep!"

Petey was growing irritated. He was thinking about giving Big Jim an earful when the two then saw Sarah show up in the TV.

"We interrupt this tenderhearted  moment with breaking news," Sarah said as she and Zuzu ran, holding a microphone. "Dog Man and Chief are heading into town to stop the evil tree that is attacking the city."

"Evil tree? Attacking the city?" Big Jim said before standing and looking noble. "This looks like a job for Commander Cupcake!"

Big Jim ran over to his bed. He grabbed his pillow and pulled out his Commander Cupcake costume out. He then started to put it on, much to Petey's confusion.

"Um, what are you doing?" Petey asked as Big Jim started to put the red shorts on.

"Well, you see, Grampa," Big Jim started, puting the shorts on and wearing his mask. "I'm not like other cats. You see, I fight for frosting, I stand for sprinkles, and I champion the cause of carbohydrates! Amen."

As Big Jim did poses, Petey was growing annoyed by the second. "Nobody cares!" Petey snapped.

"But-but I'm Commander Cupcake," Commander Cupcake told Petey.

"Well, that's just great!" Petey said. "I was just thinking what we really need right now is a guy in a cape whose only superpower is that he eats a lot of cupcakes!"

"I also eat sprinkles," Commander Cupcake told Petey.

"That's not helpful!" Petey snapped again. "We're stuck in here without a key!"

"Psst, we don't need a key, Grampa," Commander Cupcake whispered, walking over to a poster. "We shall escape through my cupcake corridor! Watch this."

Commander Cupcake knocked on the wall a couple times and the poster rolled up, revealing a hole big enough for Commander Cupcake and Petey to go through.

Petey looked into the hole in shock before looking at Commander Cupcake. "You had an escape tunnel this whole time..." Petey said before grabbing Commander Cupcake by the collar of his shirt. "And YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!"

"You didn't ask," Commander Cupcake said as an excuse.

Meanwhile, Dog Man and his friends got closer to the scene of the crime, they grabbed some weapons and prepared for an epic battle.

"It's time to give up, Fair Fairy!" Chief said.

"Never!" Fair Fairy said back. "You do-gooders can't stop my supa angry psychokinetic tadpoles!"

"Stop the tadpoles, Dog Man!" Chief ordered.

"Stop the Dog Man, tadpoles!" Fair Fairy ordered.

Dog Man surged forward with a net in his hand. He managed to catch one of the tadpoles, but the tadpole zipped around in the net, dragging Dog Man through the air with him.

"Come on, Chief!" Sarah said. "Let's get those tadpoles!"

"Right!" Chief said as he and Sarah ran with their nets. Before any of them could catch a tadpole, two tadpoles started to zap them with their mind powers.

"What's happening to my arms?" Sarah asked, finding that she couldn't move her arms.

"It's those tadpoles," Chief said as two tadpoles zapped him. "They're zapping us with their brains!"

"And we can't control our arms anymore!" Sarah and Chief cried. As Dog Man was dragged around in the sky thanks to the tadpole he caught thrashing around, the more tadpoles controlled Chief and Sarah. Several times they had both of them swing the net, capturing each other.

Zuzu watched her owner and friends getting into trouble with the tadpoles. She didn't know what to do until she had an idea. She needed Lil' Petey and Maddie's help. With that, she ran and zipped past the Fair Fairy and Downward Dog.

"Hey!" Downward Dog said in alarm. "Dude, that poodle is getting away!"

"Aw, let her go," Fair Fairy brushed off. "She's just a tiny. What could one tiny poodle possibly do?"
