Paige interrupts the conversation. "Sorry to interrupt but there's a group of soldiers searching for us and we need to find a way out of here..."
"Right... I think we need to fight our way out of this..." Sean insists.
Paige nods. "That is our best bet. Let's hope Mr. McCoy has finished the machine for us to get home..."
Fern nods. "Let's hope."
We continue...
Paige was starting to grow homesick and to be honest, she'd rather go home but she was stuck here with a bunch of mutants and was afraid to even say something, any place was better than fighting.
Suddenly a voice had entered Paige's thoughts, a soft "Paige...?"
Paige starts to slowly wake up and regain her senses, suddenly confused... where was she again?
Fern stared at Paige. "Hey, how are you doing?" They ask.
"Shit. Sorry. I was zoning out again..." Paige says.
Fern smiled.
Paige closed her eyes. "I want to go home..."
"I do too... I miss Kai... and I miss Felicity... I miss Kyle." Fern sighed.

Hank was busy trying to use a prototype of Cerebro to create a gateway for his new friends but was having difficulty.
Raven walks in and slowly wraps her arms around her lover. Kissing him on the cheek. "You're overworking yourself..."
Hank's cheeks flush to a soft pink. "But I have to get these kids home..." he says to Raven. "If I get them home before the attack... maybe they won't get hurt."
"If you say so." Raven says quietly. Ruffling Hank's hair. "Just don't overwork yourself..."
Hank nods gently and turned to continue working on enhancing Cerebro.

Fern was holding their head. Getting painful migraines and they tried to reach into their bag to find any aspirin or something but they had nothing and tried to not scream. "Fuck off... stupid migraine..."
Paige watched Fern curiously. "Are you okay..?"
Fern mumbled. "No... I left all my dumb pain killers in my home universe... it's not even my home universe. Just the one I'm staying at."
Paige tilts her head. "How do you do that without..." she tries to finish her sentence but ends up glitching midway through her question.
Fern couldn't help but awkwardly laugh. "Well your soul isn't intact... is it?" they asked and point to where would be Paige's heart and a soul appears from it, a purple one, with bunch of cracks. "Yikes..."
"That's... not normal?" Paige asked.
"No..." Fern sighed. "Now this is beyond repair..." they said. Before hovering over their heart and pulling out their soul which was green and intact.
