~Previously~

"Johnathan? Who's with you...?" A woman asked, I assume the mother of Will and Johnathan. She laid her eyes on me and I could see her noticeably flinch. "And who might you be?" She asked me. She seemed really tired and she looked like she'd been crying.

"Paige Harris." I said politely. "Most of my friends just call me Pea or something..." I mumbled shortly after.

"I offered that she should stay with us. You know, since Will is..." Johnathan trailed on.

The woman nodded. "Well I'm Joyce Byers and... just... make yourself at home for the time being..." Joyce sighed.

"Thank you Mrs. Byers..." I slightly bowed my head in thanks.

"It's the least I can do..." Joyce smiled.

The start of a new adventure has left me with a new roommate as well as a few new friends.

~We return to today's chapter~

I smiled gently at Joyce. "I hope we can be great friends." I said. Looking down at the floor.

"You're just like him..." Joyce chuckled. I assumed she meant Will.

"You really think that...?" I asked.

"Of course." Joyce smiled.

I blushed awkwardly.

"Alright. That's enough, mom..." Johnathan chuckled gently. "We should get her situated."

"Right. Right!" Joyce laughed nervously.

I was taken to a room, one that was empty. I passed by Will's room and got a strange vibe. Like... you know... Spider-Man's Spider Sense? I stared into the room. Getting mixed vibes and feelings about this. But for real... what if... Will... what if he was still-

"Paige?" Joyce chimed in. Looking at me.

I stared back. "Is this where Will stayed?" I asked. Before I knew it. 'Should I stay or Should I go' started blasting out of the music player and made me jump in fear.

Joyce also was startled by this and we both walked into Will's room. Trying to figure out how did the music player turn on?

I seemed extremely terrified. My eyes focused on the blaring music instead of the actual danger ahead of me. Without reacting. Joyce pulled me and Johnathan out of the house and rushed to the car.

Lights were blinking on and off. Music was still blaring. This felt like a nightmare and I just covered my ears to protect me from the blaring music. "My ears..."

Joyce was ready to drive away. But instead, she got of the car and told us to stay put.

I was shaking. Terrified. Covering my ears still. I seemed horribly paralyzed.

Johnathan kept me secured and calm.

This was a nightmare....

It was early in the morning. More or less, 9 in the morning?
