Chapter 14 - Summoning a Persona

~Previously~

Morgana purred. "I won't. Come, we can speak on the windowsill."

I chuckled and walked over to the window. Sitting by it and setting Morgana in my lap, the two of us watched the starry night as we discussed about tomorrow.

I slowly leaned my head back against the wall and slowly closed my eyes. "I really do hope I can help you... I haven't exactly been to Japan... this is a first for me..."

"Relax... it'll....be...ok..ay..." Morgana's voice drifted into the void as I drifted off to sleep.

"Wake up inmate." A voice rang in my ears as I woke up in the deep blue cell once again.

"You're doing great... Paige." Igor said with a soft tone.

I slowly sit up and walk to the door, grabbing the bars. "Thank you, sir... I've made great progress..." I say with a soft smile.

"Your persona is manifesting... be careful, Paige." Igor says with a soft chuckle.

"Will do, sir. Thank you for your help..." I say with a soft grin.

~We continue~

A shove on my left shoulder woke me up. My eyes were a weak soft blue, as I could see in the glow of my legs before it faded. I glanced at who shoved me.

Akira smiled at me, "Good morning, Kimura." He said with a slight joy in his voice.

"Morning Akiraaa!" I smiled gently. Yawning softly as I pull out my phone. "Oh, we still have time..."

"Yeah... Mr. Sojiro went out to get your uniform before school started! Mreow!" Morgana purred.

Akira chuckled. "Come downstairs. I'll make you coffee..."

"That'd be great!" I smiled.

"I'll call you when its ready." Akira pats me on the head and walks down the stairs.

I yawned and looked at Akira. "Thank you." I sighed and pulled out the device, the battery was dead. Not even a blinking light to signal it was awake. My heart shattered.

"What's that?" Morgana asked, glancing at me.

"Something... so I can get home..." I sighed and put it into my bag before pulling out a comb and brushing through my hair gently.

"So how come you're here?" Morgana asked. Tilting his head.

I could feel my heart start racing. "I don't know..." I say staring at the dead device in my hand. "Usually I'm here in the time of danger... I think Ginny came here... she... she's here..."

"Akira!" A man exclaimed downstairs.

I looked up. "That must be Sojiro." I finally say. "Sorry we couldn't talk more, Morgana." I add. Patting his head gently before walking downstairs.

Morgana remained quiet watching me leave before tilting his head confused.

"Thank you, Mr. Sakura... I'm sorry my uniform caused you any trouble to get..." I say as I walk down the stairs and approach the man.
