Chapter 17 - The Battle

~POV Change: Eret's POV~

God, I actually dragged Fern out here because of my anger... I really want to defeat that girl... I'm not so sure why...

"Eret, listen to me." Fern starts. "Don't get mad. This'll all pass..."

I glared at Fern. "THIS MEANS WAR!!!" She yelled.

Fern whimpered. "Oh shit..."

"You'll die soon, Paige..." I mumbled, turning away as I adjust my crown. "Good day, Fern."

Fern stared at me with disappointment before walking away. Hurt by the my words.

*FernShaper has left the game...*

~POV Change: Fern's POV~

I glance at the stream. My comments flooding with worried comments.

"What's going to happen now?"
"Laura, are you ending stream?"
"Is the stream ending?"
"Laura? What's your call?"

I sigh. "I don't know what to do guys..." I rest my head on the back of my hands as if thinking what to do. "Do I just leave the server for a day?"

"Could we play among us?"
"Laura, maybe we could play among us?"

"Sure, that would be great. I'll set up a game and we can all play for the rest of the stream." I said as I closed down the minecraft loading screen and open up Among Us. Creating the room. "Here's the code." I say and place down the code in chat as multiple people rushed to get in.

~POV Change: Narrator's POV~

Paige walked after Tommy.

Tommy knocked on a door to a tall building. "President Wilbur..." he says calmly.

A more elder voice called from the room. "Come in, Tommy."

Tommy opens the door and steps inside and motioned for Paige to follow before the ginger actually follows after Tommy.

The man was sitting at his desk, organizing paperwork.

"Did you hear the news? We won the battle!" Tommy exclaimed with such joy in his voice.

Paige chuckled. "They won't be coming back!"

"That's great." The man smiled and glanced at the two kids in the room. "Paige, right?" He glanced at Paige.

"Yes, nice to meet you." Paige bows and glances at the man.

"I'm President Wilbur." Wilbur says and puts his hand out for a shake.

Paige shakes Wilbur's hand and softly smiles.

"We look forward to working with you." Wilbur said with a smile.

"Thank you for your service." Paige says with a warm smile.
