The loud explosion made all of them jump from surprise and the Jin's and the Wen's bodyguards quickly went outside to check what happened. The people inside the mansion waited in bated breath to find out who dared to trespass inside the Jin's mansion on their happy day. 

After they waited for around five minutes and there was no sound from the outside, Jin Guangshan signaled to his elite bodyguards to check what happened. 

They did not come back either.

When Wen Ruohan called his shadow guards to find out what happened, the door to the mansion opened and black fog rolled inside, drowning everyone in the sickeningly sweet smell of something inside the fog. 

Everyone was coughing and tried to cover their mouth and nose, including Lan Wangji. He was standing beside Qin Su when he saw the flash of dark shadow from the outside approaching fast and landed beside him with a loud boom, surprising everyone.

"I was only gone for a week and you are already on your way to marry another, Lan Zhan?"

The familiar voice made Lan Wangji freeze. It couldn't be…

"But well, I understand, since you must have been sick with the poison they gave you and they forced you to marry her for the antidote. Correct?" 

The figure who wore all black and with his hair long and tied with a half ponytail, emerged amidst the dark fog. With his eyes glowing red and his long dark robe, he looked so regal and menacing at the same time.

Every single person in the mansion gasped in surprise when they saw the person who dared to interrupt the wedding party of the Jins. This lad should have a dead wish if he dared to do that. That, or he was more powerful than everyone including the Jins.

"Wei Wuxian!" The angry voice came out of one Wen Ruohan. "How dare you interrupt this important day for us! Who do you think you are?" Wen Ruohan was shouting and walked closer to drag Wei Wuxian down from the stage. Wei Wuxian only laughed and flicked his finger, then the dark fog moved to restrain Wen Ruohan's movement. 

The easy defeat of Wen Ruohan caused the others to be shocked. Wen Ruohan was the head of the Wens, and he was a very powerful and very ruthless thousands years old wolf. Not even Jin Guangshan could restrain him alone, and yet, Wei Wuxian did it with a flick of a finger.

"Anyone else? Might as well end this all up before I make my announcement." Wei Wuxian looked around with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "No?" He looked at Jin Guangshan whose face was unreadable. "Not even you, Patriarch Jin?"

Jin Guangshan was a veteran leader. He would rather know what this young lad's plan was first before he took his next step. Judging by how easily he took down Wen Ruohan, this person was not someone to be trifled with. 

His daughter, on the other hand, had a different thought. She was raised in an environment where she was pampered to the max and whatever it was that she wanted, she would get, no matter what the consequences were. And right now, she wanted Lan Wangji, consequences be damned.

She took out her needles, and she prepared to attack the insolent man who dared interrupting her wedding, the wedding she had been wanting ever since she laid her eyes on Lan Wangji. She wanted to make him hers, whatever it cost, and the opportunity presented itself when they were in a war with the Dark Phoenix clan. That was when she sneakily attacked Lan Wangji with her poisonous needles. She knew that there was no antidote, only another kind of poison who would counteract the effect of the rare poison she used on Lan Wangji, with the side effect of slowly rotting the brain. She didn't mind. She only wanted Lan Wangji for his body and massive cock, not his brain. He was too smart and cold and calculated, and she liked her men to be pliant and obedient.

Jin Guangshan saw the needle too late and when he was about to prevent his daughter from offending this unknown variation, she already attacked Wei Wuxian with her poisonous needles. In fact, it was the same poison as what she gave Lan Wangji in the first place. This guy looked hot, and she probably could use him as her toy as well.

Wei Wuxian knew that Qin Su attacked him with her poison needles but he did not take any preventive measures. Instead, he opened his arms and embraced the poison needles, which landed on his torso, accelerating the effect since it was so close to the heart.

Qin Su looked victorious as she smiled coldly like a snake that she was. Even Jin Guangshan smirked because he knew the poison from the Jins family was the strongest one and no antidotes were ever made. Ever since the Dark Phoenix King was dead, he had no fear against anyone since no one could stand against his poison. He knew this young man's life was limited, and it was up to his daughter to do whatever she wanted to him. He knew that Qin Su had the same bottomless appetite toward handsome men as he, and he could roughly guess where this handsome lad would end.

But five seconds passed. Then ten. Then fifteen. 

And there was no sign that the man would succumb to the poison. Instead, he was grinning widely as he approached Qin Su.
