"I will knock your ass out, old man."

"Why are you two here?" Charlotte asks when she sees Scott and Stiles walk towards the principals office.

"We tossed a paper ball at her back of Harris' head to get here." Stiles replies, sitting next to the Lynx.

"Nice." Charlotte nods with a small snicker before a question forms in her head.

"Why would you need to get here?" Charlotte asks in confusion.

"So Scott can listen to Jackson and my dad." Stiles tells her.

"Oh, okay." Charlotte nods before it goes silent.

"Wait, why are you here?" Scott asks the Hale.

"I might have thrown a Bunsen Burner at the back of someone's head because they were talking bad about Lydia and Allison." Charlotte replies.

"Please tell me it wasn't on fire." Stiles turns to her with a serious expression.

"Of course not." Charlotte shakes her head.

Just then, a nurse walks past with a student holding a bloody towel at the back of his head, looking at Charlotte with a glare before he's lead down the hall.

Scott and Stiles slowly turn to Charlotte, who doesn't make eye contact with them.

"I didn't know I chucked it that hard." The Lynx mutters.

"That's gonna get you suspended." Stiles points out.

"Not my first, certainly not my last." Charlotte smiles, making the two boys send her a look.

"What are we listening in for?" Charlotte asks in mock curiousness, hoping they won't go back to the subject.

"So, you're telling me that you knew Issac's father was hitting him?" She hears Sheriff ask in the office, making her eyes widen in surprise.

"Wow, the man really did deserve to die." Charlotte nods.

"Hitting him? No, no, he was beating the crap out of him." Jackson scoffs, making Charlotte glare at the floor.

"And you never told anyone? A teacher? Your parents? Anyone?" Sheriff asks in shock.

"No, it's not my problem." Jackson shrugs, making Charlotte look up and turn around to the window angrily.

"Whore." She mutters, squinting her eyes to see if she can see Jackson.

"Oh no, of course not. It's funny that the kids getting beaten up are always the one who least deserve it." Sheriff smiles sarcastically, making Charlotte let out a laugh.

"You go, Mr. Stilinski." She smiles, quickly turning around when she hears movement.

"Wait, what?" Jackson asks in offence.

"I think we're done here." Sheriff sighs, opening the office door and letting Jackson out first.

Stiles flails about, quickly grabbing a magazine and hiding his face behind it, hoping his dad won't see him.

"Hello Scott, Arlo." Sheriff smiles at them.

"Hi- yeah..." Scott trails awkwardly.

"Hi Sheriff." Charlotte smiles at him cheerfully.

Sheriff smiles back at her, looking at Stiles with a confused expression for a few moments before he sighs and walks away.

"You're good." Charlotte whispers to Stiles.
