"No... I have a feeling I've said something wrong..."

Charlotte shoots up in her bed, her eyes wide and her breathing frantic when she hears the screaming coming from across Beacon Hills.

She quickly grabs her charging phone on the nightstand, her mind on autopilot as she quickly gets Lydia's name up on her contacts.

But before she could press the call button, Lydia's name is already shown across her screen, making her quickly answer the call.

"Arlo, it happened again." Lydia cries down the phone, making Charlotte's heart drop.

"Lyds-" Charlotte starts, ripping the covers off of herself before she rushes towards her shoes.

"Arlo, I need you here. Please." Lydia sniffles.

"Already on my way. Send me your address, I'll be right there. I promise." Charlotte tells her, quickly grabbing the first pair of shoes she finds.

"Fuck!" Charlotte calls out when she falls putting her shoes on, groaning a little when she feels the pain in her back ripple through her body.

"You okay?" Lydia asks with a small chuckle, hearing the thump from when she landed on the ground.

"Are you laughing?" Charlotte asks, propping one of her arms on the ground to help her stand up.

She smiles a little when she hears Lydia laugh more at her misfortune, her heart beating slightly faster at the noise.

"Okay. Okay, okay, I'm leaving now. Open your window." Charlotte tells her, quietly opening the door.

"Why not just use the front door?" Lydia asks in confusion.

"Because I don't wanna face your mom after almost burning down her house- hello!" Charlotte yells when she jumps in fright, seeing Derek looking at her with raised eyebrows.

"Your cousin catch you?" Lydia asks, amusement evident in her tone.

"Oh yeah." Charlotte nods, making Derek tilt his head a little.

"Good luck with that." Lydia hums before she hangs up, making Charlotte look down to her phone with an offended look.

But the Lynx can't help but blush a little when she sees Lydia's address on her phone.

"Where you going?" Derek asks her.

"To Pizza Hut." Charlotte replies sarcastically.

"You're going to Lydia's." Derek states.

"Why ask me where I'm going if you already knew..?" Charlotte asks, tilting her head slightly in question.

"You can go." Derek tells her.

"I knew you were gonna do this. I just knew that you- wait what?" Charlotte asks in shock, making Derek smirk at her a little.

"You can go. I'm not gonna stop you." Derek shakes his head.

"Are you alright? You feeling okay? You wanna take some of my meds- where the fuck are my meds anyways?" Charlotte asks him.

"Just go. We'll talk later." Derek tells her with a small nod.

"Okay?" Charlotte furrows her eyebrows, looking at Derek with squinted eyes as she walks past him.

"Arlo- I'm not gonna hurt Lydia if you go and see her." Derek sighs.

"Never said you were gonna... I would slap you out of existence if you even lay a finger on her. Whore." Charlotte nods slowly.

"Just go before I change my mind." Derek tells her with a smile.
