Bodyguard - Billie Eilish

Chapter 7

Shit I shouldn't have snapped like that. I was just so annoyed with my former gang deciding to pop up out of nowhere and ruin everything I've tried to achieve. I was ok with paying them, but they popped up at the wrong fucking time. Fuck, I didn't even thank her for paying my hospital bills. There's no way I would have been able to pay both the gang, the hospital and my boss. I don't think I will even been able to pay the gang with my lowered pay checks.

As I turned to apologise to Billie, I noticed someone wearing a leather jacket with devil horns on the back of it out of the corner of my mind. He reminded me of someone.

"So she's the newest industry plant. It's time we rid the world of the scourge."

He had the same jacket! Shit. I knew it could be a coincidence, but as he started walking towards Billie I decided not to risk this.

"Billie, look out!" I screamed, running towards her. I watched as he slammed the back of his gun into her head. She crumbled instantly,falling into the arms of her assailant. He ran with her in his arms, but i swiftly caught up to them and took down the assailant, punching him in the head and grabbing Billie from his arms before he fell. I gently placed Billie on the floor, before tying up the assailant.

Luckily my car was close so I carried Billie to the car and placed her in the front seat before shoving the assailant in the back. I really can't catch a break today.

A few minutes later, I arrived at my apartment. I checked Billie's injuries before laying her on my bed so she can rest. I owe her that much after letting her get knocked out. Truly a shitty bodyguard after all.

I tied up the assailant to my chair before kicking his leg to wake him up. He groaned, before shooting up in the chair.

"Finally, your awake. What do you want and your group want with Billie? Your not really in a position to argue with me right now." I stated.

The guy hesitated for a second, before speaking. "My name is Dan. We don't want your little pop star specifically, just the corrupt industry she's apart of. We need to stop paying people millions of dollars for doing nothing." He said.

I wanted to argue with him but I just needed to get answers quickly so I continued

"Why didn't you just kill her. Your buddies went straight for the kill but you just knocked her out."

"I disobeyed one of their orders before so the boss wanted me to prove my allegiance . I was just going to kill her but I thought it was best to kidnap and torture her in front of him to prove my loyalty. Please don't kill me." He begged.

He wanted to torture Billie. Anger spiked  in me and I was about to hit him but restrained myself.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you. But your gonna spend your time in prison and when you get out I don't want to see you again." I stated. " oh, and I've been recording what you said this entire time, so I would advice you don't mention me bringing you here to the cops, or else you might be in prison for a lot longer."

Last time a questioned an attacker without contacting the police I nearly got put in jail so I'm gonna try and avoid that.

The police station was about 10 minutes away from my house, so I checked on Billie before dumping Dan in my car and driving off and giving him to the police. It didn't take that long to explain why I was hear as they already know what I do.
