Today was our first schedule for the first GOT2Day Love Edition. My manager dropped me to Abyss. But I forgot to ask how Yoojin would look like.
[YJ: Bam, do you have Yoojin's pic?]
[BB: Why?]
[YJ: Because I'm in your company and I don't know how she looks like]
[BB: 😂 Lemme tell her to find you]
Couple minutes later, a girl with long black hair tied in low ponytail with glasses came running to find me in the receptionist.
"Youngjae-ssi?" she asked.
I nodded. "Yoojin-ssi?" I asked back and she nodded.
"This way, please. Jaebeom oppa and his girlfriend are here already," she told me. She immediately brought me to this small preparation room. We all decided to wear denim. Both Jaebeom hyung and me wore denim jacket with white shirt inside, while Elle noona wore a white shirt with denim vest.
"Hi noona," I greeted her first before hugged Jaebeom hyung. "Are you nervous?"
"Like you need to ask," she grunted. I laughed. Elle noona was our model for our MV back before Jaebeom hyung went to military, but she asked us to let her face hidden. The fans were curious since we never had female model in our MV before, aside from other trainees back in the day. For our solos, of course we had female model, but as GOT7, we never had one. Not since A, if I remember correctly. The other models were little girl, so that didn't count, did it?
"Don't worry, you'll be fine," Jaebeom hyung rubbed her back to support her and it was a lovely sight. Jaebeom hyung has been a protective figure for all of us, and now he did the same to noona. Even though noona was older, somehow I felt like Jaebeom hyung was older.
A staff cut our conversation short since it was time to do the shooting. We all walked together to the set and sat down to our designed places. When the staff gave me a sign, I started to give my greetings.
"Hi everyone, welcome to GOT2Day show!!!!" both me and Jaebeom hyung shouted in unison. "I'm Youngjae.."
"And I'm JayB," Jaebeom hyung added.
"It's been a long time since we met you guys through GOT2Day, right?" I looked at Jaebeom hyung.
"Yes. I think the last time we did this session was 2019?" Jaebeom hyung answered.
"Woww.. it's been so long. Anyway, ahgasse will be wondering, what kind of session will we have here since it isn't just two of us here. As you can see, we have this special lady here," I pointed to Elle noona who seated between me and Jaebeom hyung.
"I bet everyone is wondering who's the mystery lady. Let me rewind a bit first. Do you guys remember that our hyungs have told you that they are in relationship?" I paused as if to give the fans the chance to answer. "I also believe ahgase will be curious about the ladies that managed to win our hyungs' heart. Since we're nice people, we won't let you die in vain. After all, our hyungs kept their promises and shared the news before someone had a baby," I added to make the fans remembered that Jinyoung hyung was dragged back when Bobby iKON shared the news that he was going to be a husband and a father in the same day. We promised them that we wouldn't do that, and our hyungs did. They let our fans knew when they were in relationship or after they got married.
"So, for this GOT2Day session, we will let you get to know about the ladies. You might ask again, why do we start with Jaebeom hyung?" Again, I paused for a bit. "You'd think that out of the hyungs, Jackson hyung was the first to be in relationship since he was the first to announce his marriage, but let me tell you a secret, it was wrong!!!" I whispered to give some effect.
"It was Jaebeom hyung first!!" I pointed to the couple beside me.
*insert hand clapping sound*
"Okay, let's start with introduction first. Can you please introduce yourself?" I asked to the couple beside me.
"Hi everyone, I'm JayB and I'm the leader of GOT7," Jaebeom hyung bowed and gave his introduction.
"Hi everyone, I'm Elle," Elle noona followed with her introduction.
"Okay everyone, since you guys have known Jaebeom hyung already, we'll put him aside for now and let's talk to noona first. You're a noona, right?" I pretended as if I didn't know her.
"Yes, I'm a noona," she answered.
"What about to Jaebeom hyung? Which one is older between you two?" Jaebeom hyung pointed to noona and noona pointed to herself as the answer.
"I won't ask about her age, because it's rude to ask a lady's age," I whispered to the inexistent audience. "So, let's ask something else. What's your job and can you tell me how do you meet with Jaebeom hyung?"
"I'm a business owner which includes book and food and something about music. About the meeting, is it the first one or the second one?" she asked.
"Both," I answered.
"First one, I met you guys when I was a part-timer in the restaurant that you guys frequented when you were still trainees. Back then I couldn't speak Korean well, so I was closer to your foreign lines rather than the Korean lines. The second time, he walked into my workplace and then we talked and he found out about the past and the rest was history."
"Wait, you said you can't speak Korean well, are you a foreigner?" Jaebeom hyung couldn't contain his laugh when he saw me totally acting when I asked noona that question since he knew that I've known the answer already.
"Yes, I'm a foreigner," she confirmed.
"Where are you from?"
"Can I skip?" This part was always a mystery. Elle noona never told us about her country of origin, and up until now, she decided to keep it a secret. I bet Jaebeom hyung didn't know about it as well.
"Yes, you may. Can we make the fans guess where do you come from?" I asked again.
"Umm.. what's the point of asking them if I decided to keep it a secret?" she frowned.
"Oh right. Let's not do that. Let's move on. Back then, did you like Jaebeom hyung already?" I quickly changed the course of the conversation.
She blushed immediately when I asked that question. Jaebeom hyung laughed a bit when he saw noona's reaction.
"Why? Why? I sensed there was something funny about this," I prompted.
"You know, she never admitted that she did. She always told me that she liked Jinyoung more than me in the past," Jaebeom hyung leaked her secret and it earned him a punch in the arm from noona. But both of them laughed at the story.
"Seriously? So you had a crush on Jaebeom hyung from the past? Oh wow.. And the second time? Which one of you like each other first?" I continued.
"I did," Jaebeom hyung admitted. "The second time, she already knew that we were famous. But she said she never thought of me as a man. Since she was older, she always saw me as a little brother," Jaebeom hyung pouted. He really did a lot of aegyo these days.
"Why? Love is not restricted to age," I commented.
"See!!" Jaebeom hyung seemed to gain a supporter for his reason.
"Gee.. You guys are hopeless," she rolled her eyes. "Let's try to see it from my point of view. You - ," she pointed Jaebeom hyung. "are a worldwide-known idol. While me, just a regular human being, older than you, on top of that. Who'd dare to and dream to be your crush? I wouldn't let myself to dream, so I kept telling myself that you're just a little brother to me," I could tell that Elle noona said that honestly.
