We arrived at our company 10AM on Monday morning. Yep, we have our own company. It was supposed to handle anything related to GOT7 activities. But individually we would still had our separate companies. Jaebeom hyung gathered us in the meeting room. For once he wasn't late.
"Okay. I've interviewed everyone. So let's talk about work distribution. Then I'll give you the worker's file that I thought might be suitable for the job," he started.
"I've let Mark hyung takes care of merchandises. He can do it there from LA. After all, Mae and Will will help with the designs and productions, so all merchandises related is Mark hyung's responsibilities. As for Jackson, you're in distribution and events. Even for the merchandise distribution to the music distribution, it's your responsibility. If we have events, it's your responsibility to form a team to handle it. From album promotion, fan meeting to concert, you're handling them all," he continued.
"What about me?" Bambam asked.
"Your department will be the social media and filmography. We have our own Youtube channel, but we haven't established our new IG and other accounts. So it's your team's responsibility. You're also going to be responsible for our MVs, together with Jackson or alternate, you guys decide it yourself."
"What should I do when we don't have any promotion as a group? Then the account will be neglected," he asked again.
"It's your job to find out stuff to put up in our social media. You can ask the members to do vlog for the channel, for example. Or covers video. Like when Youngjae covered song for other artists, put it on our channel. Or we can do stuff like GOT2Day again. Like I say, it's your responsibility. Find ways or find people to help you come up with ideas," Jaebeom hyung explained. "Yugyeom is responsible for the dancers. You have to pick the dancers and train them. You also have to be responsible for our choreography. Either you find a choreographer to work with you or you create it yourself," he continued.
"What about when we don't have promotion?" Yugyeom asked.
"You can still film dance practice. We also will open spot for solois, so you have to train them if they needed to dance," he offered some ideas.
"Oh wow.. we're going to have trainess. Cool!" Yugyeom exclaimed.
"And me?" I asked Jaebeom hyung.
"You're in the music department. Anything related to singing and the music, it's your responsibility. Find a vocal coach for us, or you train us yourself. Train the trainees as well," he answered.
"Then what about me?" Jinyoung hyung asked.
"You have to help me with business plan, and arranging stuff. Each member have to submit at least one song then you and I will have to sort them out. We will have to brainstorm with Youngjae and the owner of the song before we come up with the finished product. We also have to deal with the business side such as expenses and stuff payments."
"So, I'm basically your VP?" Jinyoung hyung asked again.
"Well, we don't have fix title yet, but you can say it like that. Oh wait, I forgot one more thing. You and Jackson also have to handle legal stuff. You can pick new legal team or you can work with your current legal team. Up to you. Any questions?"
No one asked any question so Jaebeom hyung proceeded to discuss the next comeback plan. At least set the timeline roughly so everyone could remember when they were expected to be here in Korea.
