Meeting the crew

AUTHOR'S NOTE: THIS TAKES PLACE BEFORE THE YOUTUBE ARC, BELLE IS NOT A CHARACTER YET, IT'S NOT LONG THOUGH!

After getting out of the car, you almost immediately start moving your stuff into your new apartment.  "Finally living on my own, this is huge!" You exclaim.  You were not very lucky however, as your apartment is on the top floor of a 10 story building, and the elevator is being repaired.  However, it wasn't too difficult, it was only those heavy boxes that made you question moving in that day.  "Well, least the rent is cheap around here, I wonder why though, Mushroom City is the capital and largest city in the entire Mushroom Kingdom." You think to yourself.  However, you would not be wondering for long, as a plumber in a red outfit is running around the area, causing chaos in the streets.  You panic as this red force of nature stops for no one or thing, and hide in your car, leaving your gaming computer outside by accident.

As if you were being punished for your forgetfulness, this plumber ragdolled into your pc, destroying it completely.  Breathing hard, you  exit your car, and give chase to this plumber.  It takes half of an hour, as he was apparently going toward the castle for some reason.  You ragdoll right into him before he enters the castle and knock him down.  You both get up as you stare at this red menace.

However, before you could attack him, a seeming clone of him, but wearing blue instead of red comes out of the castle.  "Mario, what are you doing, and who is this guy?" The blue Mario asks.  "You have Mario confused, Mario has no idea who this hobo is."  Mario says.  "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" you shout.

"Hey, calm down man, Mario didn't mean it, right Mario?" Blue Mario asks.  "Oh yeah!" Mario replies, clearly not meaning it.  "Alright, fine." you say.  "By the way, my name is Smg4, professional memer!" Smg4 says.  "Y/n, professional unemployed." You reply.  After introducing yourselves, you actually get along surprisingly well.  You were invited inside the castle, and since you were done with moving stuff inside your apartment, you figured you might as well try to meet some new people around here.

You meet Luigi first, you think he's alright, though a little easily scared.  You meet Saiko next, You think she's also cool, but she does scare you a bit with her titanic height and very no-bullshit attitude.  Next was Bob and Boopkins, you are just straight up disturbed by them and their obsession over anime.  You meet Peach, though, it was more of a she saw you and tried to kick you out, then Mario lit her aflame, no wonder she's so crazy, you think she needs a therapist.  After that strange encounter, you meet Meggy, you're a little confused on why she sounds like an inkling, despite being human, though she seems to be pretty smart.  Then there's Tari, she may be a bit shy, but you two managed to bond over you two's love for video games.  "Now kiss!" Mario mocks.  You walk up to him and smack his hat off.  "Not a Tari x Reader story, Mario" A random voice in the sky says.

After spending the whole day with this weird, but, lovable group, you head to your apartment.  After all, you still need to unpack.
