The "Original" Play

One day, within the castle, you were invited to play a game over VERY oversized Jenga.  It was Boopkins' turn to remove a block, Bob was telling him not to fuck up, while Tari was cheering him on.  Suddenly however, the tower started shaking and everyone started to get nervous that it was gonna fall.  Luckily, it didn't though!  Then Mario just explodes into the room (how does he do that?) and knocks over the tower on purpose.

"Oi you jerk!" Saiko shouts.  "Damn it, how will I show I'm the best now?" You say, annoyed.  "That wasn't very nice!" Tari informed.    "Are you guys bored of crappy entertainment!?!?" Mario says, clearly excited.  "What's so crappy about Jenga?" You ask, still annoyed.  "DAMNIT Y/N, JUST WATCH THE TRAILER TO THE PLAY I'M IN!" Mario shouts angrily.

After watching the trailer to the play Mario will be in, you all just stand there, confused.  "Didn't I tell ya?  Isn't it great?!?" Mario asks excitedly.  "If I sTaTed mY oPIniOn, sMg4 WouLD geT cANCeleD, lol." Bob says honestly.  "How'd even join this dumb play anyway?" Saiko asks.  Mario then starts to explain how he joined the play, and the group decided to support their friend, and go to the play.

When you all take your seats, you were all surprised that the theatre was full.  "Wow... this is... quite the turnout." Smg4 comments.  "First play, and a lot of people, maybe I underestimated this red dumbass." You say. "I'm so excited to see Mario!!!" Tari eagerly says.  "I'm surprised he's in a play this big!"  Meggy comments.  "sEEinG tHiS MakeS me MIsS mY GLoRY dAys as A raPpER." Bob says sadly. "Aw, there there Bob, you'll always be a star in my eyes" Boopkins reassures.

Bob: (the sound effect he actually used couldn't be used here, so I had to improvise)

After that interaction, the host of the play, Cromulus, welcomes everyone to the theatre.  He claims that everyone will witness nirvana while watching this play, leading to cheering from the entire crowd.  "...Enjoy!" Cromulus says.  "Well, that was strange." You remark.  The play starts with Mario claiming that it is boring around here.  After that, 3 People enter, stage left.  One of them is a tiny little bird thing.  Another one looks like a scarecrow with forks as it's hands and is wearing a pumpkin.  And oh goodness, the final one, seeming to have an orange to red gradient as her hair colour, with orange eyes, and seems to have a cybernetic arm like Tari's.  "Damn, she seems pretty cool." You mutter softly enough that no one hears you.  "I feel like I know that girl..." Tari says

After some strange dialogue, a body pillow falls on Orange girl's head, causing her to flinch and step out of the way, with Mario and rest cheering.  "Too bad that didn't kill me..." Orange Girl remarks.  "Relatable." You say.   "Something's... off about this..." Smg4 claims.  "Bro, it's just a play, I doubt it's anything sinister or something." You assure him.  "Yeah, you're probably right!" Smg4 says.

Unfortunately, you were quickly proven wrong about nothing weird going on, as some people holding a water gun, and a watermelon wearing similar headgear to Meggy's, enter stage left.  At the same time, Mario enters stage right, holding a water gun.  Mario says they're gonna have to train hard for the upcoming water-fest, and the people holding the melon make it nod.  Then some people, holding a watermelon with an octoling wig enter stage left.  A water gun fight occurs soon after.  "Water-fest?  Is this like some knockoff of Splatfest?" You ask.  "You know about Splatfest?" Meggy asks.  "Yeah, how could I not, after all, Inkopolis is where I'm from." you answer.  "Same here!" Meggy replies.
