THERE WE STOOD outside of the nightclub Miles' brother owned. There was a long line waiting in front of the door. We all stood shivering from the cold, wrapping our coats tighter around ourselves.
"Where are you going?" Juliette asked confusedly
I pointed at the line "too many people"
Somehow we find the back entrance. The door swung open and revealed Luciano. He jumped into my arms almost causing me to lose balance.
"Girls, this is Luciano. Luciano this is Cecile, Juliette, and Camille"
"Thanks for letting us come" Camille spoke first
"Of course! Come inside!"
The club was huge. Lights flashing, music blasting, lots of dancing, a cool ambiance, sexy vibe.
I saw Jasmine sitting at the bar, I dragged the three French girls to the bar. Jasmine jumped into my arms swinging me around. "Jasmine. Meet the French girls, Cecile, Juliette, and Camille"
Jasmine stepped forwards holding her hand out to Cecile "hi French girls"
"Hello, Vio's roommate," Cecile said taking Jasmine's hand and shaking it
"We've just met him right?" Camille whispered into my ear pointing at Luciano, I nodded
"Wheres Miller?" Juliette asked looking around
"In the corner" Luciano points at Miles who is kissing a blonde girl. I look at the girl and figure out he is kissing Ivy Raven.
"I love it" by Icona Pop comes out of the speakers
"WOOOOO!" Cecile screams "my favorite song!" Cecile drags us all to the dance floor, where music was blasting, and bodies were grinding on each other.
"I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone! I crashed my car into the bridge, I watched, I let it burn" we all sing along shouting "I threw your shit into a bag and pushed it down the stairs. I crashed my car into the bridge. I DON'T CARE, I LOVE IT!"
The alcohol was beginning to kick in. I decided to take a break from dancing and walked over to the bar.
I sat at the bar staring at the dancing bodies on the dance floor. Juliette was flirting with a boy. Jasmine was making out with Luciano on the dance floor. Cecile and Camille were grinding on each other.
Time goes by quickly as I was staring at the people on the dance floor. I look at my phone seeing it's 11:59 pm.
"You look lonely" Miles casually says placing his glass on the counter
People started to shout the countdown for the New Year.
"5... 4... 3... 2... 1" confetti filled the room
He cupped my face and crashed his lips against mine. He gripped my ass tightly, our lips moved in sync with the music. He bites on my bottom lip for entrance, I deny. He pulls my hair back earning a gasp from me and takes his chance to shove his tongue into my mouth.
Butterflies swarmed my stomach as he slowly pulled away smirking "Happy New Year"
"Let's do something" Jasmine suggested with the other standing behind her "we are bored"
"What do you want to do?" I asked taking a sip of my champagne
"Spin the bottle" Cecile jumped up and down like a five-year-old
"What's with the five-year-old games?" I laughed
"Come on! It will be fun" she smiled "and spicy" she added winking
"Spicy?" I shivered in disgust "fine, we will join your game"
"Perfect, follow us!" Camille grinned leading us to one of the spare bedrooms
"How did you find this place? I've never been here" Miles looked around
"I needed to pee earlier and couldn't find the restroom"
"You didn't pee here right?" I crunched my nose
"No, of course not"
We all sat in the room, Luciano placed his beer bottle in the center of the room. He began to spin the bottle, the glass bottle twirled around the group spinning quickly.
It landed on Camille. Camille sighed and spun the bottle again, landing on Luciano.
Camille stood up and pressed a sweet kiss on Luciano's lips. Camille awkwardly smiled at the others before sitting back down.
Luciano reached out for the bottle and spun it. Suddenly the bottle landed on me. I spun it again as I watched the bottle spin around the group.
It landed on Jasmine. I grinned and jumped on her lap kissing her sweet cherry lips. Jasmine ran her hands through my hair and I wrapped my arms around her neck.
We broke the kiss and looked around the room, the boy's eyes widened, and looked like they saw a ghost.
"Wow" Luciano gasped breaking the silence
I smiled and spun the bottle. It stopped on Ivy. She grinned as she reached out for the bottle and spun it. It landed on Miles.
She sassed her way over to Miles and crushed her lips into his. Running her hands through his dark brown hair and grinding on his lap.
"Get a room!" Camille shouted.
I felt my heart shatter. My blood was boiling. I wanted to scream.
"What the fuck" I mumbled looking at my nails that were covered with fire flames.
"The fireworks are about to start!"
