An; For once I'm doing a character POV instead of a reader or narrator POV. Let's get into it ladies and gentlemen! Leave a comment if you prefer character POV or reader POV more, I'll try to style more less important chapters as character POVs.
(Vi POV)
Going to be honest, never in my life have I expected myself to be a dog person. But, this kind of changed, heavily. You think sitting in prison for years will make you tough but- have you EVER seen a puppy? A baby german shepard? Those things are so damn adorable. Their eyes make me want to cry, it's too much for my heart.
I'm not usually a soft person but this is WAY too much.
I would be buying this lil' guy if it weren't for the heavy price, and well, stealing a dog isn't very easy. So no puppy for me today, or probably tomorrow. You wouldn't think these guys sell for such a heavy penny?
I left the store pretty disappointed but I had to work with what I got. What do I have currently? A stuck up enforcer up my ass trying to get information on someone I haven't seen for years, a half empty stomach, and a pretty annoying headache. So yeah, right now is not the best time to be worrying about cash.
"How are puppies going to help us find Silco?", "Oh will you just shut up for a few minutes or are you doing to continue yapping like a dog? The pet store is right there if you lost your way home."
She looked at me, her eyes looked like they would actually catch fire. "I got you out of prison for what reason? To go to a pet store."
"You know you really don't pay attention to anything do you?" I said, holding a piece of paper, she glared at me before her gaze shifted to the paper. "How did you-", I read it paying her no mind, apparently we had to go visit an old friend. My stomach will probably be full soon, this guy makes some of the best food in the lanes.

After the enforcer whining and me finally getting a meal we had a second piece of paper, telling me where to actually get my information. I smirked at the place knowing I would probably be able to shut the enforcer up. Well, I would have pulled off a smart line if someone hadn't ran into me.
The person had a rag over their head, they were awfully short, and, a tail? They looked at me before they started running again.
There was a guy chasing after her, I looked at the enforcer before looking back the two runners. The enforcer and I both nodded agreeing to help out whoever that was that we saw. Information can wait, for now, a good ol' fashioned fist fight...
