You weren't the type of man to be sitting at a desk all day, complete opposite. You'd rather be working with dangerous equipment, anything to get a rush. You sighed and rolled back into your chair, paperwork was something you hated, and will continue to hate. Just an hour left until you could leave this hell hole.
Your Dad forced you into studying the ways of Science, but you'd much rather be out tinkering with different things. You stared at the window of your academy, the undercity was the first thing you got your eyes on.
The undercity was a place of danger and well, as your Dad said, weird people. He wouldn't know anything about the undercity because he never visited. He saw everyone there as criminals, not everyone there is a criminal. Yes, you have been to the undercity, and today was looking like one of those days to revisit.
The bell rang, you were so focused in your thoughts that you didn't even realize an hour passed. It only felt like seconds, but you got your stuff and quickly exited making your way home to pack a bag.

Due to recent events you had to sneak across the bridge that separated the undercity and piltover. You were very good at stealth, you snuck out of classes and out of the house a lot. Your Dad nicknamed you Sneaky Gremlin when you were 10. Good times.
You crossed the bridge with ease, the guards having not even paid any attention. Lazy. He hated the enforcers, their way of dealing with things was by force, probably why they're called the enforcers. Even if you were caught pickpocketing they'd still pull a gun on you.
You got the thought out of your head since you'd need to be on edge here. Everyone would want to rob you. Or well, grab and go, since that's happened to you several times without you noticing.
You were heading to your normal spot that you usually snuck into the undercity with when you noticed lights. Green lights. Weird, you've never seen those before. You got to the spot, but it was boarded up. 'Get Out Piltie' is what it said. "Piltie?" You said to yourself. "That's what you are" well if you had expected it you would still have been surprised.
No one followed you, you made sure of it, so where were they? "Look up Piltie" you did as the voice said. Your eyes scanned around for a little bit before they found their target. A white mechanical and golden mask, your eyes glistened a bit. "Did you make that yourself?" You questioned. You didn't expect an answer, a truthful one at least, since you don't even know him. "Yes"
Well, that's enough surprises for you today. "How did you make it? Especially with that, what, voice changer?" You might be able to get help from him, well, maybe, not like he would trust you. "It's a special design, you learn to adapt down here"
Maybe he would help you? "Do you think you could teach me how to make one? I mean, I'm not very fond of where I live if that makes you trust me at least a small bit. Its boring over there with all the rules n' shit" you scoffed when you thought about your teacher breaking your hardest project.
The guy laughed, "yeah sure, meet me here tomorrow, same time, don't bring anything"
'Don't bring anything'? You ignored it and nodded, "see you tomorrow?" "See you tomorrow Piltie"
