"Excuse me?!?" I was both embarrassed and annoyed. 'You might come in handy later'?? The hell! I don't even know them and they're already being a jerk! "First off I don't even know you and all you did was save my life ONCE! You can't just say shit like that!" She looked a bit surprised but went back to her smug annoying little face. I would so beat the hell out of her if she hadn't saved my life. "Dawww, cmon, you know I'm just messin'!" I took a heavy inhale, 'just messing'? "Well you're a prick, oh wait, just messing."
She laughed a little, god know's why, but I did admit to myself that this person seemed like the type to do crazy shit and probably get themselves killed. They have chaotic energy and yet somehow they also seemed to feel sympathetic to people. "Look, I'm grateful for you saving my life and all but I honestly don't even know you." She hopped down from where she was and looked at me. "Well why don't you get to know me?" She was a bit taller than me, cursed this stupid height... I also couldn't help but feel slightly embarrassed. They were closer to me than I expected and they towered over me by like... 2 inches? Okay you know... 'towered' probably wasn't the right word but it's hard to think when someone is right in your face.
"Well right now it's freezing and we're on the roof of a building..." I said before she could get any closer. I pushed her back a bit the distance making me a bit uncomfortable. "Why don't we meet at the bar, hm say, 6pm tomorrow sound good?" I blinked, I don't really remember my schedule but it's the bar I work at either way... at least that was the only one here in the undercity. "Sure- I might be working then though..." they snorted and held their mouth for a second. "You honestly think that matters?" I hesitated to speak. "Well yeah my job is important..." she put an arm around my shoulder and it made me flinch for a second... my mind was thinking in the wrong direction. "I know who owns the place so don't worry!"
'Don't worry'?! I am worrying! Ugh... I'm not one who wants to get into trouble at work but if they knew the guy who owned it then it should be fine... right?
