Only a Dream

Chapter 4

Taylor's Pov

It was Friday and I was freaking out! The meeting was in California, so I was being flown out there today. My mom and I were currently waiting to get on the plane and all I could think about was what YouTubers were going to be there.
"Taylor, it's 4 in the morning and your wide awake, are you okay?" my mom asked.
"I'm so excited mom! I'm going to be able to meet a bunch of my favorite YouTubers! I have no idea who's going to be there yet but I'm really excited!"
"Don't be too excited because we won't be staying here for long. You know the tour doesn't start until the 20th." it was currently the 9th.
"I know mom... Please don't remind me I can't wait!"
"Try not to think about it honey. Anyway, are you excited for your birthday tomorrow?"
"Uh duh! Again I'm getting to meet a bunch of YouTubers, on my birthday. Now that's what I call a Sweet 16."
My mom just laughed at me. We waited a bit longer and then our plane started boarding.
During the flight I put my headphones in and surprisingly fell asleep with ease.
"Taylor, honey wake up, we're landing." my head instantly shot up
"Woah Taylor calm down." my mom laughed
"Everyone's gonna love you." my mom said
"Don't get cheesy on me mom" I rolled my eyes and laughed.
We got to the hotel and I'm weird so I decided to explore. "Mom I'll be back I'm gonna explore!"
She laughed, "Okay just be careful and don't get in any trouble."
"No promises!"
"Taylor." my mom said sternly.
"I'm kidding mom, I'll be back soon."

"So I'm in Cali right now, and I think I'm going to have the best birthday ever tomorrow!" I tweeted then put my phone in my pocket. First I walked down my floor to see if one could find the ice machine. I like to fill up a bucket and eat the ice, it's weird but I love it. I found it so I went to the elevator to check out the pool downstairs. While I was waiting for the elevator I went on my phone. I heard a ding so I walked forward and ran into someone.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry I wasn't looking." oh my god... ITS JACK DAIL!!
"It's okay I wasn't looking either, I'm sorry. Wait a minute, Taylor? Are you Taylor Smith?"
Jack. Freaking. Dail. Knows. Who. I. Am. HOLY SHIT!!
"Uh ya, you. You know who I am?"
He laughed "Ya of course I do, your amazing!" I could have fainted right there. "I'm doing everything in my power not to freak out right now, I'm a huge fan!"
"I could tell," he laughed, "So where are you heading beautiful?"
I laughed, "Are you trying to kill me Jack?"
"No, I mean it. Your even prettier in person." he winked and I blushed.
"I was going to check out the pool, I'm here for the top secret meeting tomorrow"
"Oh really, top secret?"
"Ya if I told you I'd have to kill you."
He laughed again.
"Well I suppose I should let you explore then"
"Before you leave I require a hug."
"Oh you do?"
"As your biggest fan then yes I do."
"Well if your my biggest fan then I guess I'll have to give you the biggest hug!"
Jack had to bend down in order to hug me, he picked me up and twirled me around.
"Your really tiny, how tall are you?" he asked laughing
"I am not tiny! And I'm 4'5" yes I know I'm short for a 15, almost 16 year old.
"Aww that's so cute!"
"Just cause I'm small doesn't mean I'm cute!"
"Yes it does. Oh my god I have to tell Mikey about this, he's taller than you, that's a first."
I froze at the mention of his name. "W-what... Mikey Murphy is here?"
"Ya we're sharing a room right now... Are you okay? You look a little pale."
"Am I dreaming right now? Is this situation really happening."
Jack laughed nervously, "Uh ya, do you not like Mikey?"
"No no god no. I love Mikey! It's just, uh it's really complicated I don't really want to explain."
"What you guys have a bad past or something?"
"No we've never met. Uh I should really get going, um I'll see you around. Bye Jack."
I walked quickly back to my room.

Mikey's Pov

I was sitting in the hotel room on my phone when Jack came in with a confused look on his face. "What's up dude?"
"That was really weird."
"What was weird?"
"I just met Taylor Smith."
The mention of her name got my heart beating, "Wait, she's here?"
"Ya dude but it was so weird we were talking and she said before she left she wanted a hug because she's a fan. So I gave her a hug and she's really tiny. Like really tiny." I was starting to get annoyed by how he talked about her, he can not have a crush on her, that would ruin my chances. Wait why would it matter I don't like her... I can't like her I haven't even met her. Mikey chill your getting worked up about nothing.
"Earth to Mikey" Jack was waving his hand in front of my face.
"Were you listening to anything I was saying?"
"No sorry bro. I was spacing out, I can't get my mind off something."
"Okay? Well anyway I told her that I had to tell you about her because she's so tiny and cute and honestly you guys would make a perfect couple," I smiled at the thought, "Well once I said your name she turned really pale dude. Like she was about to faint, and I asked if you guys had a bad past and she said no you've never met. It was just so weird because then she just left."
"Wow. Maybe she doesn't like me" I said looking down.
"No she said that wasn't it, she said it was complicated. I don't know man, shes pretty interesting, I'm glad she's coming on tour with us."
Shit. She's going on tour with us!

Taylor's Pov

"Honey are you okay? You look a little pale."
"Mom am I dreaming." I was almost crying
"No, Taylor what's going on?"
"Everytime this happens its a dream. Everytime he's here it's a dream, he's never really here. Mom I can't tell, is this a dream?" I asked full on crying now.
"No honey it's not a dream. Wait who are you talking about?"
"Mikey Murphy. Everytime he's here it's a dream it's never real. And he's here mom tell me this isn't a dream." I was having a panic attack now.
"Taylor calm down, your getting yourself worked up about nothing."
"Getting myself worked up about nothing? This isn't nothing mom! I can't tell right now, I don't know what's real. It's gotten so bad I can't tell what's real. This feels so real, but so do all of my dreams." I curled up into a ball and continued to cry, my mom came to rub my back.
"Mom please don't touch me right now, I need space."
"Okay honey"
She sounded hurt but I needed to be alone right now.
