No One's POV

Alycia laughs loudly at something Eliza told her and she quickly slaps her hand over her mouth when she realizes just how loud she was being. Lizzie who's sitting on the couch from across the room furrows her eyebrows at the sight of Alycia being carefree for once. 

MK and Ashley sit on either side of Lizzie the moment they saw Robbie get up and walk off somewhere, "hey baby sis," Ashley greets her but the twins only got a hum back. They follow Lizzie's line of sight and smirks slightly seeing that their best friend Alycia and her friend Eliza were the targets. 

"You have to stop murdering Eliza with your eyes Lizzie," Lizzie snaps from her trance at MK's teasing. "What do you mean? I'm not doing anything," Lizzie defends herself with furrowed eyebrows. 

"You don't have to do anything physically, your murderous eyes convey everything," Ashley comments and before Lizzie can try defending herself MK says, "also, the color green doesn't suit you, lil Olsen." 

"What?" MK rolls her eyes at Lizzie's oblivious state, "jealousy doesn't look good on you." 

"What? I am not jealous!" Lizzie shrieks a little louder than intended. Scarlett's face pop in between Lizzie and Ashley, "you are so jealous." 

Then Sebastian jumps in to add, "I completely agree with all three of them," then he and Scarlett walk off. 

"I have no idea what you all are talking about, I'm not jealous," Lizzie defends on the outside and she doesn't dare voice out the conflicting feelings that were swirling inside her. 

"You can deny it all you want sis, but everyone can see it. Everyone sees it but you two which is annoying," Ashley says but Lizzie continues denying it, "No, I'm not into Alycia like that. I just got engaged for goodness gracious!" 

"A ring on your finger isn't enough to prove your love for a person. Tell me, Elizabeth, has Robbie made you as happy as Alycia does as of lately? Does he make you feel safe the same way she does? If Robbie was to not talk to you and contact you for months like Alycia, would you have reacted the same way you did with her?" MK asks her seriously and Lizzie looks over at the brunette and analyzes how she laughs at another thing her fellow blonde friend said, which only continued to annoy Lizzie. 

She focuses back on Alycia and she couldn't help but admire the way the brunette's nose scrunched when she laughs hard. Lizzie's eyesight zeros in Alycia's plump lips and she finds herself wanting to run her thumb softly over it. To Lizzie, it felt like time slowed down as she witness Alycia lick her lips before biting her bottom lip, the Olsen blonde gets slightly startled at the tingly feeling she felt shoot down her core. 

Lizzie finds herself thinking back to the moment they had before Scarlett had interrupted them in the room. She almost kissed her best friend. She wasn't sure where exactly that came from, all she knew was the pull that she felt to lean in and the urge to attach her lips with the brunette. It almost felt their lips were magnets with a force generated by the aligned atoms creating the magnetic field. 

Lizzie has one regret and it wasn't initiating the almost kissed they had, it was allowing themselves to be interrupted. After pondering on the idea of them kissing she finds herself wondering how her best friend's inviting lips would feel on hers. How would they taste? Would they be as soft as how they look? All this newfound information brings a wave of guilt to Lizzie as she remembers that she was engaged to another person that wasn't the woman she wanted to taste. 

But the blonde quickly dismisses that guilt, in her mind she was only curious about how it would feel to kiss her best friend. That was all it was, curiosity and nothing more. She doesn't like Alycia, she couldn't like Alycia, therefore being curious about her best friend was alright. Right?

"You done daydreaming about her?" Ashley bumps her shoulder effectively snapping her from another daydream. Lizzie rolls her eyes for what felt like the millionth time tonight, "I was not daydreaming. And I do not like her like that. I only reacted the way I reacted because she's my best friend, nothing more." 

"You're so annoying," MK grunts, "and completely oblivious and in denial." 

"You'll see what everyone is seeing the moment that Alycia is no longer available for you and you'll regret never doing anything about it," Ashley gets up for a refill after saying a piece of her mind. 

"I wouldn't wait so long Elizabeth," MK pats her younger's sister knee before getting up to follow her twin. 

Lizzie slumps back into the couch crossing her arms over her chest. A world where Alycia is no longer available for her? That sounds wrong. That doesn't sound right to the blonde, it was her and Alycia till the end. Alycia promised her that she would never leave her and the brunette told her that no one would ever replace her place in her life. But if that's the case then why did she feel as if she's a thousand miles away from Alycia only to watch her get taken by Eliza? 

The younger Olsen shamelessly observes Alycia with her friend once again, she seemed happy and carefree. Eliza was doing a great job at making her laugh, there's no doubt about that, and honestly, they look like they could be a really cute couple. Lizzie wants to be happy for her best friend and allow her to explore whatever connection she has with the blonde woman she was talking to, but why does it hurt? 

She watches as Eliza's hand wraps around Alycia's bicep leaning in to whisper something into the brunette's ear, she continues to watch seeing a blush creep up from the brunette's neck to her cheeks. The minor display of affection stirs a tiny rage in Lizzie's stomach that everyone would solely call, jealousy, but yet again the blonde denies the feeling. 

"Do you think she'll realize her true feelings before the new year comes?" MK asks Scarlett, Ashley, and Sebastian as they observe the young Olsen from afar. 

Sebastian scoffs, "that little in denial human bean? No, definitely not." 

"10 bucks says she does," Ashley smirks. "10 bucks says she doesn't," Seb bets. 

"15 bucks says Alycia would crack and tell Lizzie about her feelings," MK raises her bet making everyone raise an eyebrow in amusement.

"Nah, 20 bucks says Lizzie realizes her true feelings and makes a move on Alycia," Scarlett smirks at the group. "Before the new years? You do realize that's it's December 27th today right?" Seb says in disbelief. 

"I'm well aware Sebastian," Scarlett rolls her eyes at the comment, "what do y'all say?" 

"Deal." 

"I'm in."

"Get ready to pay up bitches." 

"Let cupid do its holiday magic."
