After we left the mall we went straight to olive garden. Luckily there's hella food places by the mall so we didn't have to drive far. Not even just hella food places there are hella places in general. Anyway I am currently sitting at the table staring at this menu not even focusing for real. I am stressing because I have 3 months until I have to take my big test for vet school. And if I pass this test I qualify to graduate. Meaning I will legally and officially be a veterinarian. Whenever it's time for me to study for something I tend to stress myself out which isn't healthy at all. I also tend to think negative things like I'm not gonna pass and that's one thing I dislike about myself. I didn't even realize I was in deep thought until I heard Nate call my name for the 3rd time.
"Sky!!" Nate waved his hand in my face. I looked up from the menu, "hm"
"I said do you know what you're gonna get"
"oh yeah" I kept my answer short.
"You good ma what's wrong" He asked. "I'm straight" I then looked back at the menu. "You not" Nate said moving the menu away from me. "Talk to me" He said looking into my eyes.
"I have 3 months until my big test" "Oh shittttt you sure do got that test. You not stressin about it are you" He said. Before I could answer the waiter came out with our drinks. I ordered some wine and Nate ordered pink lemonade. "Are you two ready to order" She asked. "Uh yeah i'll have the shrimp alfredo extra sauce please"
"soup or salad"
"Salad please, ranch dressing"
The waiter wrote it down.
"And for you"
"I'll have shrimp scampi" Nate stated
"Got it. And would you like me to bring the bottle of wine out for you"
Nate nodded. As the waiter walked away Nate finished speaking.
"Can you make me a promise" He said. I nodded. "Promise me you won't stress yourself out over the test" I just looked at him. I don't know if I can promise him that. I'm already stressing over it and it's in 3 months.
"I'll try not to" I spoke.
"You know you gone ace that shit right?"
I just looked at him.
"You like the smartest person I know...plus you even made it INTO vet school you gotta be a fucking genius to get into there" he said taking a sip of his lemonade. I just smiled. He's right, I gotta stop thinking so lowly of myself.

We talked more, we ate, talked, and ate. Shit if I didn't know any better we was on a date. Nahhhh let me stop. Nate is currently driving me back home and can I just say this man is fine as hell. Shit. The things I'd let this man do-
"What you thinking about" He spoke interrupting my thoughts.
How do this man know when i'm thinking???? The hell?
"Can I play some" I said taking the phone out his hand.
"How yo ass gone ask, yet proceed to do it" He said looking over at me then back at the road. I just laughed and continued typing in my song request. I started playing 'Today I Got Time' by Eric Bellinger.
"Yo ass always in yo feelings" Nate said laughing. "Boy shut yo ass up" I laughed. We continued driving in comfortable silence besides the music we were playing. I was looking out the window when I felt my phone vibrate. I saw I had a message from my brother Jayden.

Me: yo ass a trip🤣🤣
Me: what's going on tho I haven't spoke to you since the revolutionary war

As I saw him typing I realized we pulled up to my apartment. I turned my phone off then put it in my purse. I searched for my keys and once I found them I took my seatbelt off. "Ight homie I'll catch you next time" I said to Nate holding my fist out. "I cant stand yo ass" He laughed dabbing me up. "Nah fr tho thanks for taking me to olive garden you know that's like my second home" I said with a smile.
"You play too much" He said laughing. "But of course you know I got you" He added on reaching out for a hug. We hugged then I opened the door. "Text me when you make it home" I said then shut the door.
I went into my apartment and set my things down. I figured my babies probably wanted some fresh air so I decided to take them on a lil walk. About 25 minutes later I came back, did my hygiene routine, then changed into something comfy. I changed into a black tank top and some plain shorts.
I realized I still didn't text Jayden back so I facetimed him instead. To my surprise he answered on the second ring.
"Aye who you calling a bitch" He said looking dead in the camera.
"Damn my fault gang" I said.
He laughed.
"What you doing tho" I said
"Shit bored as hell what you doing"
"I just got home I was with Nate"
"Y'all dating" He asked.
"No"
"Y'all need to stop playing"
This nigga...
Me and Jayden then continued on our conversation for about 10 minutes until we said our goodbyes because his girl called him. So I decided to pop in my airpods and call it a night. I turned on my drake playlist and slowly fell asleep.
