I don't understand.

Chapter 6.

When we arrived at the Brooks' household Luke opened the door for me then followed me in "Mum this Sophie. She's the one staying with us for a while. Soph that's my mum Gina" I'm extremely shy so I just said a quick "nice to meet you Gina" then smiled. Gina then apologised and said she doesn't have a spare room so I have to sleep with one of the boys. Beau then ran down the stairs and quickly said "she can sleep on a mattress on my bedroom floor to save her from sleeping with one of us!" Gina agreed and Beau showed me to his bedroom so I could put down my stuff. "Thanks Beau" I quietly said. "Anytime babe" he said as walking out signalling for me to follow him. I went back down to watch tv with Luke. About 5 minutes after Lukes twin Jai walked in the front door. "Ooh! Luke is this your girl you were teasing me about?" He said teasingly. I tried to act tough and spoke up "I don't belong to anyone." He looked at me weirdly and came and sat down beside me. "So tell me about yourself" Jai said to me. "Um, I'm 17 but I got kept down a year that's why I'm in your year level at school." He nodded in approval. "Oh okay. It sounds like you have an accent. Did you originally come from somewhere else?" He asked which caught everyone's attention. "I used to live in Los Angeles." I said guessing that was the response he wanted. We talked for a bit longer then had dinner. Gina cooked lasagne which was the best thing I have ever tasted. "Oh my god Gina this tastes so good!" I said licking my lips. She giggled at me then we continued eating. After dinner we went to our rooms. I was In there with Beau. He stayed quiet for about 5 minutes before I decided to break the tension. "Why were you being so rude to me yesterday?" He looked guilty. "Uh I um my friends told me to" I looked confused. "They obviously aren't very good friends then are they" I responded. "Well no but I'm sorry anyway." I just asked him not to do it again then continued on doing my homework. He crawled out of his bed any lay next to me. "Beau? What are you doing?" I asked him. He moved closer then whispered in my ear "you looked cold" oh that makes a lot of sense. I'm Lukes girl and he's trying to get close to me now. I nodded then stood up and jumped on Beaus bed then played 'subway surfers' on my phone. It is really addictive. He got up and sat next to me. "What's your high score?" He asked curiously. "I'm not that good but 3693" he chuckled then left the room. I think he went to the bathroom. Luke then came in realising Beau was gone. "Hey baby" he said to me. "Hi Lukey bear" I replied with as he straddled on top of me. I think my facial expression was really akward because he decided to break the tension and leaned in to kiss me. I didn't want to take things too fast but I didn't want to ruin the moment so I wrapped my arms around his neck and leant in too. His lips were so smooth it was amazing. It lasted for a few seconds then he tried to put his tongue inside my mouth but I pursed my lips so he couldn't as I said I didn't want to take it too fast. Then Beau walked in and Luke jumped off of me. "GET OUT" Beau screamed at Luke. I was scared and just pretended to go to sleep hiding under the covers. Beau sat on the mattress next to me. "Are you okay?" He asked me. "Yeah you ruined the moment" I laughed out loud. He giggled then kissed my forehead then said "good night Sophie" I just hid under the covers until I fell into a deep sleep.
