I don't understand.

Chapter 13.

•Sophies POV•
Beau and myself sat around watching movies basically all day. So far we have watched 'Titanic' and 'My sisters keeper' they were both really good. Gina rushed downstairs from her bedroom and came over to me. "Sophie your mum has just returned to your house safely. She was just taken by your father somewhere out of Melbourne and forced to sign their divorce papers. Courtney was shot by your dads mate though. I'm sorry sweetie." She explained to me. I burst into tears. "Why is this happening to me?!" I screamed and ran upstairs to the bathroom. I grabbed a razor a scraped it harshly against my skin until there were 2 cuts. 1 for Courtney and 1 for dad. Beau was screaming at me and knocking on the bathroom door trying to get me out. He knew what I was doing. Just when I heard my sweet innocent mothers voice "Sophie come out of there please. I love you" I burst out of the bathroom and into my mothers arms. I accidentally got blood on her off of my wrist. "I love you too mum" I managed to say through all of my tears.
Me, Beau, Luke, Jai, Gina and my mother all sat at the kitchen table. Now that my mum is back I still want to live here with the brooks'. She was gone for 5 days but I am too scared to leave this place. I had already been through with Gina of what I would do if my mum returned and we decided I would continue to live here. I couldn't tell my mum so I politely asked Gina to do the honours. "Your daughter has been through a lot this week. She has began to feel more safer here. We are more than welcome to have her here. She is no trouble at all if you were wondering. She's a lot of help actually. We all love her to bits and now that we have met you im sure we will grow to do the same with you. Can I have your permission to keep your daughter here with us?" Gina asked. "I'll come home for sleepovers mum I promise" I begged. She was shocked. Gina thought to herself for a bit then canes out with "if you don't feel safe on your own home we are more than happy to get an extension love" my mum ran up to her with open arms. "Would you really consider having us both Gina?" My mum asked. Gina nodded and smiled. We all took in turns of hugging each other. This will be amazing. I can't believe my mum will be living here with us. This is the best life ever.
