I glanced at my phone. It was now 7:12am. It had been nearly 3 hours since Karly had been taken into her room. I was starting to think of whether or not she had passed out or something. A man in a long white coat walked towards me. I budged per on the chair because I thought the he wanted to sit down.
"Wayne?" I glanced up at him in surprise
"Umm. Yes. Yes I'm Wayne."
"Okay. You may see Karly now." my heart leaped out of my chest as I fast walked over to Karly's room. 8ET, 9ET, 1OK, 2OK, I read the numbers going down the hall. I reached Karly's room, 4OK. I was nervous but at the same time, I was happy to just be seeing her again. I wasn't sure of what to expect. My eyes were greeted with a pale Karly laying lifeless on the bed. She had several cords on her chest and many tubes going into and out of her stomach. She also had a tube going into her nose that sat just inside her nostrils then split to wrap around her ears, and then reunited at her neck. I could hear the beeping of a machine that was making a noise with the beats of her heart. Her still body laid there as my heart beat of my chest, longing to feel her strong but fragile arms around my helpless body. I took a seat in the chair next to her bed, and took hold of her pale and cold hands. I was craving for her blue eyes to look back into mine. Her curls were messy and half tucked behind her ears, covering her neck. They had changed her outfit from the loose fluffy jumper/shirt with her ripped black jeans and dressy thongs, into a loose fitted, purple hospital dress and green fluffy socks. Seeing her like this brought tears to my eyes. For half an hour, I just sat there, staring at her helpless body, covered with cuts that had now been stitched up.
"Hello. Sorry to disturb you sir, but visiting hours are now over." A man with a deep voice said softly
"Oh. Okay. Umm thanks. I'll be on my way now. Can I come back tomorrow?" I queried nervously
"Of course! Enjoy your day sir." The man led me out of Karly's room as I turned back and stared at her pale beauty before I had completely exited the cold room. Hospitals are always really cold. They are even worse when you have to leave behind someone that you love so much and can't do a thing to help them.

hey everyone. Sorry for the short chapter but my cousin told me that she liked the ending. I know the chapter is only 445 words and I'm sorry about that but I hope you like the chapter.
