"Bye mum." I yelled as I strolled out the door of our old house. I dawdled to school and watched several busses pass by. They all had one thing in common, teasing kids. Every buss that passes by all I could hear was "look it's weirdo Wayne" which literally was not that creative if you think about it. Kids these days aren't that intelligent. And yet they're calling me weird. I straightened my afro hair and brushed the dirt from my grubby shoulders. Then again..... I thought.... I'm not that great myself. After at least half an hour of walking, I arrived at school. Our school wasn't that flash. It had 2 buildings. One for classes and one for an office. Our school only had 60 kids max so it's pretty easy to see why we only had 2 buildings. For a high school, we were tiny. Unlike other high schools, we
never changed classroom. This was only for the fact of having 1 classroom for every grade. I trudged to my class as all the other kids pointed and laughed. I was used to this by now. When I got to class and the bell rang I sat in my broken, dusty chair (of course I got the stupid chair. All the other kids got proper chairs that actually WORKED as a chair.) Anyway, I sat down in the lonely corner of the room. Isolated. Ready for my next torturous day of school. The teacher talked, and talked, and talked some more as I watched every second of the clock tick by. I never wrote anything down in class. I had learnt that it's a waste of time since the teacher can't even see me from where I sit and frankly doesn't even care about what I do with my life. After what seemed like days of blabbering about WWII the bell woke my half sleep. I jumped up and ran. I ran to the bus stop and desperately hopped on the first bus that arrived. I always did this because I knew that all the popular kids always hung around to chat before they went home meaning that I never got teased.
