it would be fair to say that her day was going well for the first time in ages....

UNTIL

She came upon a trail of blood and she was not sure which bone in her felt the urge to go investigate, she must have been crazy to do that because she wasn't even drunk.

So like the idiot she was, she began to follow that bloody trail and found herself looking at a horse with something tied to it. She looked left and right and then started to walk to the horse. She could bet it was a lost horse carrying precious goods.

She had just neared the horse when the creature looked up at her, it was as if the horse knew who she was and was waiting for her.

The animal let out an impatient neigh.

She stuck her tongue out at it.

Lilliana finally walked over and patted its head and she didn't know why but the horse was very familiar, she had seen it somewhere before.

She walked around the horse and a sort of panic seized her once she saw him.

He was bloodied up badly, she crouched down, her legs shook badly. She sat him up against the tree bark and with shaking hands placed them on his face. There was too much blood. When did this happen? How did this happen? Where....

Too many questions filled up her mind and she could feel something in her start to crash and burn. She placed two fingers on his neck and searched for his pulse.

She couldn't find it and tears sprung to her eyes.

She grabbed his arm and searched for his heartbeat, she wasn't going to make assumptions; the determination to have him alive was suddenly the adrenaline that shot through her veins.

And then she found it, it was so light that it was equal to being non existential.

She wasn't sure whether she should be relieved or annoyed with him being alive.

Lilliana stood up and sighed.

She couldn't walk away from this but neither could she drag him along and surprise the others with a bloodied mess.

Eris had to know that he was truly becoming a responsibility that started to not only weigh her shoulders but her heart.

She began to walk away, looking straight when suddenly she heard a cough.

She suddenly turned back around and rushed to him, dropping to her knees and scanned his face once more. Any onlooker would have awarded her for the speed at which she had gone back but fortunately there was no onlooker.

Well the idea of ignoring him had flown out of the window without the presence of a window so now the only left option was dragging him back, and the irony was that she couldn't even drag him or he would get hurt even more.

The day had really been going well before.

She sighed before slipping an arm under his knees and placing one around his back and then she lifted him up.

His head rolled back and she wanted to drop him but she just couldn't.

So she managed lifting him up until she found herself entering the rolling plains of Tamlin's estate.

He was still very heavy after losing that much blood.

"Could've bled a little more." She muttered

Now his head fell on her shoulder.

A sigh escaped her.

She had to be going crazy for this to happen.

After crossing what seemed like endless miles of just greenery, her eyes started to hurt and so did her her arms and her heart.
