"It's still too short." Sirius commented

Isabella hummed.

"What do you think?" She asked Eris

"It looks-

"Bland." Sirius interrupted.

The boy was keen to make his opinion count.

Eris glared at his brother.

"Why are we still discussing this?" Eris asked waving a hand at the chart Isabella had.

"Because it's important." The girl said

Eris sighed

Of course it was important.

"What's too short?" Zane asked

"The height of your IQ." Eris muttered

"Heyyy-

"Both of you stop yapping, we have more important matters at hand to discuss." Isabella said
"Your wedding dress is very important." Sirius added

"It's a nice train, don't lengthen it unless you want to trip on air." Eris said

Isabella scowled and rolled the chart and placed it aside.

Eris returned to reading his book.

In the book, the redhead girl was moping over the amber eyed boy. Boy. Pfft. The Male lead was no boy, he was eternal. The description was good. He was described to be tall, muscular, had midnight black curls, and Amber eyes that looked like molten gold. There was an occasional mention of high cheekbones.

The girl had green eyes, and red hair. After all, when a book is in first person, the description of the love interest is avid and long.

This book was in Lilliana's pile of books. Her taste in books was exceptional.

Honeydew. The Male  loved the taste of honeydew.

"Eris." Isabella snapped drawing his attention away.

"Yes?" He turned away from the book, scowling

"You're not paying attention." She said

"Well, my taste in clothes especially wedding dresses is pathetic and if I were you I wouldn't ask me." Eris said

Isabella raised an eyebrow.

Sirius snickered while Zane was watching the two exchange looks.

"I only wanted your opinion." Isabella said shrugging

"I have no wishes to give it but if it does satisfy you, I think as I said before, the train is fine, but it needs more glimmer and don't make it traditional." Eris drawled

Isabella glared at him before returning to her book, the closed it and placed it aside.

Eris began reading again.

He had reached an interesting page. His cheeks flamed hot.

He scuttled to the side, trying to seem definitely not suspicious.

Gods, what did Lilliana read, he had seen her read it, and she looked like she was reading the morning papers. And this was definitely something he could read with his face straight. His face still felt flush. What the hell.

This was something he'd have to ask her, if he got to talk to her, if she forgave him, if he got to her, and if he survived the next few weeks. He hated this, too many ifs.

This was a lot to take in. A lot, he was as infatuated as the male was with the girl when she tried to kill him. God, if his face stopped burning he could stop hiding this book.
