Chapter 26

Mom and I sat at the table with Max and Izzy infront of us. This was going to be the hard part. Getting Max to understand. He was nibbling happily on his cookie as he looked at all of us.

"Guess what Holland told me mom." Max said.

"Whatd she tell you baby?"

"She said Alec and Magnus kissed." He said.

I started into a violent fit of coughs as Max didnt seem fazed. Isabelle was trying to not laugh and mom looked kind of uncomfortable.

"Well Maxie, boys can kiss boys, just like mommy and daddy kiss. Girls can kiss girls too. As long as the people love each other." Izzy explained.

"Jimmy is in 5th grade and says that his momma is a lesbian." He said.

"Max enough." Mom said.

"You cant tell dad Max." I said.

"That you kiss boys?" He said.

I nodded. He shrugged his shoulders and drank his milk. "I want to see Holland. I love her." He said and ran towards the stairs.

"That boy." Mom said.

"We'll go see her tomorrow after school Max!" I yelled.

"Okay!" He yelled.

Tomorrow I would take him to see Holland and I would also see how Maya was doing. Hopefully the baby was good as well. Magnus came down the stairs with his phone in hand and plopped down next to me at the table.

"I mean what I said Alexander Thomas Lightwood." Mom said.

I blushed and nodded.

"Momma using middle names is never good!" Izzy said and ran up the stairs.

I rolled my eyes and laid my head on Magnus' chest. He sighed and ran his hands through his hair.

"Whats wrong Mag?" I asked him.

"Sinecia is coming to America." He said looking guilty.

Jealousy flared through me as I got mad. Anger surged through me as my hands were clenched in fists. I picked my head off his chest and glared at him.

"I dont want you ex in my house Magnus." I spat.

"You dont get to make those calls Alec." He said simply.

"Your MY boyfriend and this is MY house that YOU are living in!" I snapped.

"So what? He has helped me and I will let him stay here for helping me! Without him Holland could have died!"

"All he did was find your creepy father!" I spat.

Magnus froze as his face was not emotionless. His face was pale as he pushed me off of him. I realized what I had said. I felt horrible.

"Mag-" I started.

"Save it. Im sorry im to creepy for you. We're over Alec. Ill move out by Friday." He said and walked up the stairs.

My heart literally broke into a million pieces just then. I felt the breath leave my body as I fell to the ground on my knees. My 1st boyfriend just ended us. I fiddled for my phone and called a number that was in my phone. The familiar Russian accent rang through.

"Sinecia, its Alec. Tell Magnus Im sorry." I pleaded.

"Why? He is your boyfriend Alexander." He said.

I groaned and hung up. I walked out of the livingroom and up the stairs into Magnus' room. He was shirtless and in his bed. I sat behind him and tried to hus him but he pushed away from me.

"Magnus." I begged.

"What?!" He snapped.

"Im so sorry. I didnt mean to say that." I said.

"Its true. My father is creepy." He said looking at his hands.

He looked like a lost little boy who needed to be loved. I pulled his face to mine and captured my lips with his. At first he didnt kiss me back but eventually he gave in and kissed me back. i kissed him like it was the end of the world. I showed him how sorry I was and how much I love him.

I backed away from his face and pecked his lips once more.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you to."

"Please be mine again." I stated.

He was silent and then kissed me. Right then And there I knew I was his and he was mine. We lay down in his bed to watch a movie. A little into the movie i felt him playing with my hands.

"I think we should go public in the school." He said.

My breath caught in my throat as my heart beat faster.

"No." I said quickly.

"Why? I thought you wanted to be with me." He said sadly.

"I do. I dont want to be bullied Magnus. People in my school are horrible to gays." I said.

"We should make them change their minds about us gays." He said.

I couldnt help but laugh. Yes I have thought about it but it wasnt like i was ready for all of that.

"Not yet Mag." I said.

He nodded.

"Max wants to see Holland tomorrow is that okay?" I asked.

"Yes. She gets her surgery today." He said sadly.

"Hey, she may get to walk again." I said brightly.

He smiled weakly at me.

I wasnt looking foward to school tomorrow. Magnus' ex was coming and Was going to be staying with us and I knew I would get jealous.
