Rishi's wake up call was a dragon. The reddish coloured big lizard roared, or snarled, or just made some high pitched sound that woke him up. Last night's cow meat was something Rishi wasn't going to have in a while. Not a big beef fan anymore, Saptarishi Roy. While Rishi was pretty sure it was just dusk time in Midgard, it was now a new day in Vanaheim.
Rishi would have gotten everything out of the way, and gone back to his life in Midgard, but sadly, it wasn't all roses back there. So, he needed to get on with this journey to make his life back there full of roses. With this motivation, he woke up, in the chilly morning of Folkvanger. Normally, Rishi would have been scared to sleep here, given this was one of the three Norse underworlds. But the fact that this was run by the goddess of love seemed to settle his nerves a bit. As soon as he came out, he was handed a waffle by Hnoss. "Eat it. They don't make a lot of breakfast in here in Vanaheim. Apparently, Mother wants to keep everyone fit by eating minimum breakfast."
"But you are gods." Rishi said, confused, "Why would you need to control your eating?"
"We don't, but the rest of the humanoids here who are not gods need to."
"Woah!"
"Now, let's go, Njord is fishing by the sea."
Hnoss had taken proper walking dress, with black leather pants and dark green sweater. Her hair band was gone. While the two walked, Hnoss gave him some advice, first, about the mode of travel. "Walking is good, if you are living in Vanaheim."
"You could spend all day just looking around." Rishi replied.
"Exactly." Hnoss said, as they walked past some rough terrain, to get to the sea, "Listen, let me give you some love life advice."
"You?" Rishi asked, "You will give me love advice? Romantic ones?"
"Hey, I am my mother's daughter, right?"
And just as she said it, Freya appeared in front of them. All dressed in blue, combing her hair amidst the nature. "Good morning!" She said, joyously. She had shredded off the anger off her face, and was now smiling as sweetly as Rishi had mostly seen her smile. "Still after Skadi?" She asked.
"Yes." Rishi answered, fearing if she would get mad again.
"Alright. Anything to get her back." Freya ran her hands through Rishi's hair, "Just remember one thing. Your fylgja is a very important thing."
"Fylgja?"
"Hnoss will tell. Any idea where the others are?"
"No."
"They are in England, last I heard." Hnoss said.
"Great. They are in the right path. Get going, kids." Freya said, as she prepared to leave us, still combing her hair, "Oh, and Saptarishi?"
"Yes, Lady Freya?"
"We need you all to stick together, you know. We can only win the war if you have enough love among yourself, for love is the most powerful weapon in the nine worlds and beyond."
"I will keep that in mind, my Lady." Rishi replied, to which, Freya gave him a beautiful smile.
As Freya left them, Rishi asked Hnoss, "What is a Fylgja?"
"It is your spirit animal that lives within you. There are a few things that animals have, qualities that outshine even humans. There is always one inside us, someone that defines us, our qualities, our characteristics, ourselves."
Rishi couldn't really pay full attention to it. He did listen, but he didn't quite get the meaning. He was distracted, by how, a girl so so young could actually give so many life lessons. Then, he remembered that this young girl look was just one she had taken. She was actually at least a thousand years old, and a goddess. She was perhaps used to it all. "Alright, what does it relate to Njord?"
