Tanya hopped off the train,closely followed by Sirius,James,Remus and Peter.
"Good to be back is it not?"She said turning round to face them.
"It's bloody brilliant" Sirius states loudly, drawing the attention of many other students. Tanya looks down at her feet, disliking the sudden large amount of attention. Before she knows it Remus gently takes her hand and leads her up into a carriage, causing her cheeks to be dusted with a light pink. If she'd only looked up she would have seen he had cheeks far pinker than hers. But she didn't and was completely oblivious to the playful smirks James and Sirius kept sending Remus.
At one point, about five minutes after they'd gotten into the carriage and set off, Peter gently tapped her arm. She turned to face him and said,
"Yes?" In a very inquisitive tone.
"W-what's your blood status?" He asks before quickly adding, "I was just wondering, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to I don't mind"
"Oh I'm a half-blood, I don't mind you asking, don't worry" She smiles gently at the small boy.
"Interesting" Remus says looking up from his book with a grin at her.
"Me or the book? Because I'm sure whatever you're reading is far more interesting than me" she says an eyebrow raised at him.
"I assure you you're far more interesting than 'The Entire And Complete Full History of Potions', who on earth wants to read about the full history of a goat just because a bezeor comes from it's stomach." She laughs heartily at this.
"Wait what? A bezeor cones from a goat's stomach?" A confused Sirius and James say, almost in sync. This just makes Tanya laugh more, and honestly her laugh must be terribly infectious because soon all five of them are laughing their heads off, only Remus, Tanya and Peter fully understanding why.
As they finally stop, all red in face from it and Tanya still taking deep breaths to completely stop her laughter the carriages begin to pull to a stop and they all get out to walk up to the castle.
Remus holds a hand out as Tanya steps out,
"Lady Tanya, May I assist you?" He says sarcastically.
"Why thank you Sir Lupin" She says with just as much sarcasm, taking his hand and stepping out of the carriage. But what neither of them fully notice is that they both keep holding each other's hand as they walk to the castle.
