"You're kidding me right Tanya?" Sirius exclaims loudly as the group of 5 sit around the fireplace in the common room. "You cant possibly never have gone to Honeydukes in the what, 3 years you've been here!" He continues at the exact same volume as before, to her complete and utter embarrassment.
"Well no, I haven't I-it was always rather too busy for me and Xenophilius would always bring sweets from there to our secret den so it's not like I've never actually tried any if the sweets" She says, her shy stutter coming back slightly.
"A secret den!" Peter pipes up, rather curious.
"Well yes, but know one else is allowed to know about it!" She replies, smirking slightly.
"Aye, worth a try Peter but she can be stubborn as mule when it comes to keeping secrets!" Remus says, grinning slightly at the memory of Sirius attempting to force her to give him the answers to a test, although much to his dissapoinment Tanya had refused nonstop.
"Except when it comes to Remus" James whispers rather loudly in Sirius' ear, causing both Tanya and Remus to blush mightily. They ignored the comment however and continued to watch the flames dance in the fireplace.
"Honestly though Tanya you may have been to Hogsmead before but trust me you've never been to Hogsmead with us, you'll have the time of your time!" Sirius says, turning to face her.
"You will" James says nodding. At this Tanya smiles slightly and nods,"I bet i will" she grins at them. What seems like a lifetime of jokes, plans for pranks and laughing until their stomachs hurt later the 5 began to yawn and rub their eyes and it was only when Tanya actually fell asleep that they departed for bed after getting Lily, Alice and Marlene, Tanya's roommates to help get her into bed.
"Morning Tanya!" Marlene says rather cheerfully to the just awoken Tanya. Simply in response she mumbles a reply and turns over to sleep.
"Tanya you know it's already 9 o'clock in the morning, you've missed breakfast and got an hour before going to Hogsmead" Marlene persists on her quest to fully wake the girl, having been asked multiple times by Remus. At the words 'missed breakfast' however Tanya bolts up with a look of horror in her eyes. Marlene chuckles under her breath at her reaction and the sudden rush she was in to get ready.
"What can I possibly wear Marlene, I literally have no clothes!" Tanya groans, after a good 10 minutes of searching to find a nice enough outfit. Whilst Tanya flops onto her bed Marlene begins to sort through her clothes and soon enough finds something, in Tanyas eyes, is absolutely perfect. With many thanks to Marlene she pulls on the black skinny jeans, pastel purple jumper and a flower crown for a nice extra touch. Her and Marlene then proceed to walk down the stairs together, both grinning widely in what seems to be their new found friendship. The common room's almost full, and quite intimidating to the shy Tanya but the much more confident Marlene drags her over to the Marauders and she's greeted with quite the worried Remus.
"Tanya! There you are, are you alright, you're not ill are you? Because we don't have to go if you're not feeling up to it!" He says, the concern in his voice quickly washed away when Tanya laughs and reassures him.
"Of course she's alright Remus!" Marlene says, laughing "she's just far too lazy and refused to get up until 9 o'clock."
"Which is literally like 5 o'clock in the morning, how do you not possibly understand!" Tanya says, turning to face her.
"Well then Tanya, we should probably get going before you simply die of tiredness" Sirius jokes, punching her shoulder playfully.
"Yup lets go!" James adds and both the boys grab one of her shoulders and drag her out the common room, Peter and Remus following awkwardly behind.
*Time Skip to Hogsmead*
The cold air swirls around the group of 6, Marlene having joined the merry bunch, as they make their way towards Honeydukes. They all seem to shiver in delight as the warm air inside Honeydukes engulfs them, relaxing their grip on the cloaks they had wrapped tightly around themselves to keep warm. At the sight that befalls them, Tanya's eyes widen, it was definitely unlike what she had previously imagined. Instead of it being very crowded with students and people being pushed around left right and centre it was rather peaceful, the sheer size of it giving many pupils and people the space to walk around and survey and pick sweets to buy.
"So like it?" Remus says, smiling at the expression on her face. To this she quickly replies with,
"Of course! Its amazing, not at all like i thought it would be!"
"We knew you'd love it" Sirius and James say, almost in sync. All of them laugh joyfully, however are soon interupped by two rather attractive Gryfinndor girls, twirling their hair round their fingers as they haughtily say, "Could you move?"
"Oh and because manners just don't exist do they" Tanya retorts sarcastically, surprising them all including herself.
"How about you three come with us, you don't have to feel sorry for the loner you know, its cute though- how you care for everyone" One of the girls says, gesturing to Sirius, James and Remus and placing a hand on her hip and continuing to twirl her hair round her finger, rather too obviously flirting with them.
"Sorry mate but she's our friend and if you try to insult our friends, you try to insult us. We'll move now and I hope you can find where you lost your manners." Remus says, standing protectively in front of Tanya, before turning and walking off, guiding Tanya through the shop by holding onto her shoulder, the other 5 trailing behind them.
And without either of them noticing, at their touch their cheeks become rather dusted with a rosy blush.
