The Other Animangus (Remus Lupin)

Siriusly Guys?

My heart began to race rapidly, my breathing became quick and unsteady. To put it simply I was terrified but in my mind, however, I was scared beyond any imaginable capacity, this was quite literally my worst nightmare...
The only possible solution I could think of was hiding but in my fear I was completely paralyzed, there was nothing I could do.
"Hey Moony calm down I'm pretty sure it was nothing" another familiar voice cut through the silence. Wait a second did they say 'Moony' as in Remus... after I moment of thought I realized it did add up and my fear was instantly washed away with relief, before being replaced with suspicion. What could all 4 of them have been doing at this time in the morning (around 1:00 am)?
I couldn't help but heave a huge sigh of relief.
"Guys, you heard that right, th-they might know" who I suspect to be Remus stammers, yawning in the middle of his sentence.
"Know what?" I got up and walked towards them, my fear destroyed and a curious glint in my eye.
"Nothing!" James and Sirius instantly step in front of Remus in a rather protective manner
"Oh I see, it's a secret huh?" I pause smirking "but it's alright you dont need to explain or tell me, I don't mind" I continue, instantly softening at the sight of the exhausted Moony, he truly is adorable.
"First of all though, what are you doing up at this time?" Sirius says, an eyebrow raised.
"If I tell you will you tell me likewise?" I ask, knowing revealing my fear to them could prove to have a horrible outcome.
"I guess..." Remus yawns widely "so" he finishes.
"Fine then it's a deal!" I state and I hold out my hand to shake upon it. As our fingers touch a bolt of electricity seems to dash through me, quickening my pulse rapidly. What's happening to me? I can't possibly have f-feelings for him can I? I look up at him and realize he's watching me, a gentle smile on his face. I must say this seems to go on for years
"Sooo can you two stop staring into each other's eyes and get on with telling us" James smirks in an arrogant, but knowing way.
"What!" We both exclaim "we were not, you liar!"I continue, trying to hide the blush violently consuming my face.
"You look red" Peter very unhelpfully states, pointing it out to everyone, to be perfectly honest I'd forgotten he was actually here.
"No I dont!" I say, probably blushing even more.
"How about you actually get on with that explanation, huh?" Sirius rolls his eyes
"Fine fine" I begin "Well in my dormitory I have these muggle fairy lights which are like glowing lanterns you can light up places with, however the thing that powers mine ran out and it was very very dark and the light from my wand wasn't very bright. So I decided to go down to the common room where I could sit by the fire and I'd been doing so for a while when you guys came in and bloody hell did you guys scare me!" I end it with a sigh, Potter and Black both burst out laughing.
"What is it you two? What's so funny?" Peter asks, struggling to simply put two and two together.
"Isn't it obvious?" James says, holding his stomach from laughing So much "She's actually scared of the dark!" Sirius finishes his sentence, taking deep breaths.
"How about we juuussstt....." James says, trailing the just for a rather ling time, "do this!" He puts out the fire, putting the room into complete, utter darkness. I squeal in fear, closing my eyes tightly.
Suddenly I feel someone grab me from the back of my waist, strong, long arms pull me onto a chair.
I look up to see someone who's obviously Remus, smiling down at me.
"You'll be fine with me" I hear him say before he heaves a long yawn and falls asleep, with me curled in his lap.
I honestly don't know how to feel or what to do but I do like it..
"James, Sirius" I whisper loudly (well loud for a whisper) and am replied with "We're going to bed, enjoy the night!" With the other adding "We know you're to scared to get up, poor poor you"

I shake my head,smiling. Those boy's will be the death of me...
