"Nice sleep Tanya?" James says, his signature smirk plastered onto his face,whilst he literally jumps into the seat in between me and Remus. I punch his shoulder playfully as the memories of last night and this morning flooded back to me.
*Flashback to that morning*
I awakened to Sirius singing "Tanya and Remus sitting in a tree K I S S" my instincts automatically kicked in before he could finish and I attempted to get out of Remus's lap, ending up with me on the floor and a very confused, just awoken Remus Lupin looking down at me.
"Hey what's going on"he said yawning.
"Nothing" I said getting up off the floor.
"Well why are you on the floor and why are you both down here at this time in the morning?" He said obviously having forgotten the events from last night. I went to explain before Sirius butted in.
"Don't you remember? You slept down here with Tanya after we'd made her tell us that she was scared of the dark!" He said a little to loudly so more or less any Gryfinndors who were awake could hear.
At his words Remus flushed red, "R-really?" He stammered. I nodded awkwardly, Sirius watching this whole ordeal with an amused look on his face. "I'm so so sorry, I didn't hurt you o-or make you uncomfortable in any did I?" James entered the room as I quickly reassured Remus it was fine with James unhelpfully adding "I'm sure she was really ok with it, positively overjoyed if I must say." By now the common room was filling up even more and I was turning redder and redder.
"Nice pyjamas Tanya"Peter says, just as Lily comes to rescue me.
*End of Flashback*
"I really must thank Lily for saving me.." I mumur as I get up from the table to find her.
She's sitting with a few of her friends that I don't know very well so shyness overcomes me. I slowly retreat to my seat, hoping not many people noticed.
"What was that?"James laughs at my feeble attempt.
"I just don't know her other friends so I got a bit shy, it doesn't matter anyway, I'll do it later" I say in reply.
"But it does doesn't it?"he smirks and stands up.
"Lily-flower, Tanya wants to to speak to you but it appears she's too shy!!!" He shouts, far louder than necessary even gaining the Professors attention. I grab his arm and pull him back into his seat, hissing "what the hell was that?" Into his ear .
"Effective"he whispers back, pointing towards Lily walking towards us.
"Yes?"she says rolling her eyes at James and looking me in the eyes.
"I-I just wanted to say Thank you for saving me earlier" she smiles at this but quickly returns to her seat probably due to James.
The day continued as normal, the air becoming colder rapidly as Winter truly began, at dinner i finally decided to see my best ravenclaw frind Xenophilius it was simply ages since I'd seen him and i was just longing to hear that calming voice again.
"See you guys in a bit!" I say smiling as I skip off to the Ravenclaw table, one of them asked why but I'd already rushed off.
Belive it or not it actually took quite a while to just find Xeno but I did eventually and soon we were chatting just like old times. It was brilliant.
"Hey Tanya, do you want to go outside after tea, I hear it's gonna snow!" He smiles happily at me, wow he really still remembers almost everything about me, including the fact that Snow is one of my favourite things in the entire universe!
"Of course I do!!!" I respond with more excitement than might be possible for a human, I just really REALLY like snow.
As promised, after tea we head outside to a spot near the black lake, it used to be our favourite place to hang out, aside from the library.
We sat chatting about anything that came to our minds for at least half an hour, until I felt a small droplet of snow on the tip of my nose.
"Did you feel that!!!" I jump up, pulling him to his feet. The snow began to rain down faster and faster until the ground was completely covered in it.
"Its so Magical!!" I shout out loud, chasing Xeno round and round in the snow our clumsiness resulting in us becoming absolutely covered in the stuff. Before I know it, I'm completely out of breath and I lay down on my back, just smiling and being filled with the most beautiful, pure happiness I've ever felt. Xeno lays next to me, letting out a happy sigh.
"I dont want this moment to ever end" he says, his eyes closed.
"Same here, it's great hanging out with you again" I smile, looking up into the grey sky. But something catches my eye, it's beginning to get darker every second.
"Shall we head back, night is almost upon us" Xeno says, seemingly sensing my sudden discomfort. As we walk back, hand in hand to stay warm, I swear I see something or someone moving in the dark but I shrug it off.
"Thank you for this" Xeno turns to look at me as we reach the place where we must part ways.
"No, thank you! Tonight was brilliant,we should do this again?" I question, a smile still on my face.
"Definitely, now see you later alligator" he says hugging me goodbye.
"In a while crocodile!" I reply before running up the stairs, still waving.
A/N- Soooo don't know if you could tell but I LOVE snow and don't worry Xenophilius is just a very good friend nothing more. Anyways feedback is appreciated as always and bye bye! Xxx
