*Tanya's POV*
The nightlight on my bedside table began to flicker errily, damnit I knew those batteries were unreliable! As it was out for longer periods of time I began to feel panicky, what if it went fully out, what if it became fully dark, what if...
Forcing myself out of my bed I stood up and looked around, there was still a small amount of light left filling up the room but the flickering began to become too much for me. My mind instantly raced and unwanted thoughts slithered slyly into my head, I began to see eyes under my bed and hands at the window. Taking a deep breath to stop myself from screaming I grabbed my wand and whispered "lumos" the light wasn't much and it certainly wouldn't help me for when I got back to bed but it would definitely work as a guide as I made my way back down to the common room.
Yes I was going to the common room cause im scared of the... dark. However no-one actually knows that, they just know of my other fears; like heights.
*Remus's POV*
The morning Sun crept over the starry night, lighting the sky up with a gentle orange glow, my bones and body began to contort into my human form once again.
As the rest if the marauders saw so, they morphed back as well and we crept back up to the castle to the common room....
*Tanya's POV*
I sat in a big, squashy red chair, taking deep breaths to try and calm myself down. I don't know why but I was in full panic mode and terrifying thoughts kept whirling round my head, the shadows the warm fire cast across the room creating the shapes of people and monsters. My ears became more alert, the slightest creak making me flinch.
Suddenly voices became slightly hearable outside the door. Low whispers, maybe those of murderers set out to kill us all....
The door burst open it, was too late it was over. Curling into a ball and letting out a piercing screech my reactions kicked in and I was paralyzed in fear.
"Oh my what the hell was that!" A strangely familiar voice cut through the silence.
