A/N: Oh wow look who emerged from the dead! I'm really sorry for not updating for what seems like years and I think I'll be updating more often from now on (hopefully!) so that's all good ^_^

As the days rolled on Tanya found that she fell more and more for Remus and Remus found he fell more and more for Tanya. However, both were shy and timid and both had things that they believed should stop them from getting 'too close' to others. And eventually, easter rolled around, much to the joy of all the students, especially Remus who adored chocolate more than almost anything. And this, of course, Tanya found absolutely adorable, so you could say she went out of her way to get the best chocolate she could for Remus and her other friends. The gifts had been expertly hidden under her bed for almost 2 weeks and excitement bubbled through her veins at the prospect of finally being able to give them to her friends. Actually, the night before she'd stayed up reading until she was absolutely, completely sure that her roommates had fallen asleep just so she could wrap them without her friends noticing.

Sunlight filtered through the deep red curtains to greet Tanya's tired eyes with a new day, with no lessons as it was the easter holidays, and with a lot fewer people around as most people had gone home for the holidays, however, there was no way that Tanya was going back to her foster home if she didn't have to. Crinkling her nose and furrowing her eyebrows she yawned and stretched her arms, taking in the tranquility of the silence. With still-tired limbs she got out of bed and began to get ready, quietly as not to wake her remaining roommates up, a grin beginning to form on her face in excitement.  Once ready, she grabbed the easter eggs and chocolate from under her bed and with a whisper of, "Happy easter!" to her roommates she was off down the stairs to the common room.

Sighing contentedly she sat down on a chair and opened her book on her lap, only pausing to check the time- it was half 7, which made her gasp slightly, as usually if she had the chance, she'd sleep in as late as possible. In comfort she began to read, slipping into the plot of the book with an appeased sigh. In what seemed like a millisecond she was greeted with joyful shouts of "Happy Easter!" from Remus, Sirius, James, and Peter. Tanya simply responded with,

"One minute, just let me finish this page," and went back to reading, hardly being able to hold in a laugh at the expressions on their faces. And in one minute she closed the book and stood up, grinning, to greet her friends.

"Happy Easter!" She smiled widely at the four, pulling them into a quick hug. They grinned back at her, James and Sirius exchanging smirking at each other as they watch Remus try to hide the pale pink blush that had begun to dust his cheeks. However, Tanya and Remus were more or less oblivious to this, as they'd begun to talk about the book Tanya had been reading. A few more minutes of pleasant chatter passed before Tanya's face lit, having just remembered the gifts that sat in a bag at her feet. An overjoyed grin passed over her features and she ushered everyone into seats before she began to hand out the presents.

"This one's for you, Remus, I hope you have a lovely easter!" she smiles at him, the brief moment in which they'd brushed fingers as she'd handed him the box made a rosy blush crawl up onto her cheeks so she quickly moved on to the others to hide it. They'd all only just begun to open their gifts when Remus jumped up out of his seat like he'd sat on a pin.

"One minute, I've just to get something," he uttered, running off up to the room that he shared with Sirius, James, and Peter. Sirius raises an arched eyebrow,

"Wonder what he's off to get," he chuckles, James begins laughing as well, leaving Tanya and Peter rather confused. James and Sirius sigh in unison, James whispering something to Peter that Tanya doesn't hear.

"Ohh, that.." Peter trails off, his eyes almost lighting up as he realizes what the the other two were laughing about and he joins in on the laughter, leaving Tanya now thoroughly confused. She tries to get them to tell her but they stubbornly refuse.

"Come on, please?" she continues to try but all she gets is laughter and smirks.

"Stubborn stupid mules," she mutters under her breath, frustrated at the three.

"What was that?" James retorts, his eyebrows raised and a smirk plastered on his face. At that moment  Remus walked in, beaming happily.

"Remus," Tanya says, "They won't tell me something and I want to know what it is!" At this Remus sighed and rolled his eyes,

"Go on then spit it out," he says to the the three, "actually I think I know what this is," he pauses, sighing "I shouldn't tell you three anything to be perfectly frank." He grins at Tanya, "don't worry about it," he says to her.

"Ok!" she replies, "anyways, does everyone want to get back to opening your presents?" she says, smiling. All of them nod and Remus bites his lip in shyness. He passes her a box,

"Umm, this is for you, sorry it's not very fancy.." he trails off, scratching the back of his neck nervously. Tanya's whole face lights up,

"Thank you so much! And don't worry, I really don't care about how fancy anything is," she grins joyfully, a soft pink blush beginning to dust her cheeks. Eventually, they'd opened all their gifts and each one of them sat on a mountain of chocolate, each one of them with huge smiles scrawled across their features. The box of chocolate Remus got Tanya still remained unopen on her lap, she was almost treating it like how Gollum treated 'his precious' in The Lord of the Rings.

Time had ticked by quickly and all the students in the school had eaten like kings with the great feast and all the chocolate they'd received. Therefore Remus and Tanya were sitting blissfully in the Gryffindor common room, seeing as the other three had all said they had 'things to do'. Tanya took a deep breath before saying,

"Remus, you've got chocolate on your face," she giggled and wiped the sweet confection off his face with her handkerchief, a deep red blush beginning to consume her face.

"So have you," he took the handkerchief from her hand and wiped the chocolate off her pale, freckled skin.

And that's how their night ended, with bright red blushing faces and the both of them laughing in joy.
