Meant to be

Chapter 3

(Pov Yn)

I'm standing in my walk-in closet, trying to choose which pj I'm going to wear. After a while I finally chose one. It's a black shirt with black shorts. I brush my teeth and lay down in my bed. I  watch a Netflix movie. It's a movie named fear street. First, I wanted to watch all of the fear street movies but after part one I turned on the light because I got afraid Ruby Lane would enter my room and slice my throat with her old fashioned shavingknife. I look at the clock at the wall and see it's 2 AM already. I lay in my bed for 30 minutes, eyes wide open because I'm too scared to close them. After a whiIe I decide I won't be able to sleep alone tonight.

I get out of my bed and walk through the hallway. What was Tony and Peppers room number again? 30? Or was it 38? I stop at room 30. I knock on the door. 'Come in.' a voice says clearly awake. I open the door. Wanda is sitting on her bed in shorts and a shirt. 'Oh sorry- You are not Tony.' I say ashamed. 'Nope, but can I help you with something maybe?' Wanda asks smiling. 'Nah, it's stupid. I'll go back to my room.' I say and turn around. 'No yn wait. I'm sure it isn't stupid. Come here.' Wanda says, she pats the empty spot next to her on the bed.

I sit down on the bed and look at Wanda who is smiling. Wanda comes closer and holds my hand. 'Now tell me, what's wrong?' she asks nicely. 'Promise me you won't laugh.' I say, while I look into her beautifull eyes. 'I promise.' Wanda says seriously. 'Well I uhm... I watched a horror movie and now I can't sleep...' I say ashamed. I stare at the wall because I can't look at Wanda, I'm too ashamed. Wanda starts to giggle. 'You promised me you wouldn't laugh. 'I say, laughing too now. 'I'm sorry. You can sleep here if you want.' Wanda says, still giggling. 'No, it's okay. You don't have to. You probably don't even have an extra mattress here.' I say, trying to avoid eye contact. 'You can sleep here if you want.' Wanda says. She points at where I'm sitting.

'Really? Thanks. I'll be right back. I'll go get my pillow.' I say and I get up, but Wanda grabs my hand and pulls me back on the bed. 'No, you can use mine. I have two of them, I don't even know why.' Wanda says while she hands me one of her pillows. 'Thank you.' I say. 'I have to take my stuffed animal tho...' I say and get up again, but Wanda is to quick. She grabs my hand again and pulls me back, but this time not on the bed but on her lap. She wraps her arms around me, so I can't go anywhere. 'I don't think so. You can have one of mine.' She says. She grabs a big teddy bear from her bed with her one hand while she holds me with the other one. 'Thank you.' I say while I give her a hug.

Wanda lifts me up, gives me the bear and brings me to 'my' side of the bed. Then she lays me down and pulls the blanket over me. She takes place next to me at the other side of the bed. 'Goodnight yn.' She says. 'Goodnight, Wanda.' Then I fall asleep.
