I necessitated sleeping in the comfort of my own home more. The home feeling placed in my office space would not be the same as the comfortability of my heavenly bed. Stimulating all-nighters throughout the week back to back was exhausting. Sleep was an activity I enjoyed, unlike many workaholics. If I wanted to acclimate through the day, a night's rest was needed.

So, in conclusion, waking up in my queen-sized bed decorated with white and grey sheets. My room has interiors with white and grey decor, like the walls and carpets. My gray curtains following the line of light blue across the room -were much better than waking up in my office at three am, having dozed off amid my work.

I release myself from the fortress of sheets, into the world of cruelty and indifference. I was a part of it ironically. Getting ready does not take necessarily long, my outfits are usually cordially placed and delivered to my penthouse. If I am taking a day off then there is no way in hell I might suffocate myself in these designer outfits.

With that being said, I throw on a pair of jeans, a white dress shirt-tugged in, and a black oversized sweater. I meet Lea in the hallway, she running out of the master bedroom that belongs to her mother-giggling while singing 'Burning love' by Elvis Presley, a bit off-tune while Marae shouts lectures in Spanish.

"Deja de gritar, le haré el desayuno. ¿Quieres algunos?" I ask her if she wants breakfast since I will be making some for Lea. While doing so, I lead Lea to the kitchen and shout at Marae for an answer. She answers this time.

"Estoy bien." She shouts back finally-I will make her food anyhow. Lea frantically searches for the remote and turns on the flat screen while waiting for me.

Six waffles, chopped banana slices, and strawberries with whipped cream later and I have breakfast ready. Gosh, I feel horrible at even the simplest of tasks. We sit together at the table, Lea struggling to reach her chair so Marae guides her.

"So, what are we going to do about Ash?" Marae asks, my fork stops midair and I place it on the plate before sighing.

"I don't know, Marae. I just need a clear head to think about all this-or else I might just lose sight of what's important...." I wipe off the crumbs on the corner of Lea's mouth. She smiles and continues eating.

A knowing smile sets on Marae's face, "What about some retail therapy. Trust me, just think about caring for yourself and no one else. Or let's just stroll the mall, nothing beats the knowing onlookers who care about eminence more than they care about their loved ones. It's disgustingly amusing."

"Are you trying to ruin people's relationships?" I laugh.

"Perhaps." She dramatically eats a spoonful of waffle before swallowing, "Oh good heavens, this is amazing!" She moans deliciously at the taste.

"Is it? I thought I overcooked it, it has been a while. Wait a minute, I thought you were not hungry?" It's her turn to stop eating, fork midair. Except Marae continues to eat to stall her answering me.
