I will be discontinuing the story (not surprising after the 1 year inactivity) because i am focusing on school and I got overwhelmed a bit when I wrote the story.
It was supposed to be an emo joji fic because, here is how it's supposed to go: (mentions of suicide)
after meeting joji, y/n never forgave him. Until this one scene where they met a bridge and JOJI WANTED TO JUMP?"?>":??">" and y/n stopped him but still wouldn't forgive him. and y/n ended up liking her roommate but he likes joji and then y/n is emo as well.
I wanted to write it like that but then I thought "hey y/n is so insensitive." and "where is joji theres no joji anymore" so i never did.
so the story I went for was:
Chloe came out to y/n and joji and them accepting her. Chloe became a good friend to y/n and she is a changed person wow wow and joji was like damn shawty youre hot wanna date to y/n and she was like nah bro and then after a while y/n started to like him again and boom love.
also in both drafts of the story y/n's roommate picked her up after the whole thing in LA and saw joji and then boom y/n got a love rival but joji is straight so im sorry dude.
i decided that i wont make it emo because theres too much emo in my life already dude (i am gonna cry and laugh myself to sleep because why did i say that) but yeah i was like overwhelmed with assignments what i needed was comfort.
i can tell you the story of both chloe and y/n tho because i really like their character.
Chloe:
Chloe Burbank started dating joji after her friends set her up. She was really happy because they were able to comfort each other. But then, Chloe realized that she never really like Joji that way. She wanted to tell it to him because after some time thinking, she never really liked boys. She was scared to tell him because she thought he was homophobic and if she thought that if they want to break up, she wanted to at least still have him as her friend. to get over the fact that she's into girls, y/n, to be exact, she started to sleep with guys. she never really wanted to do that. she just wants to feel good about it so she kept on doing it but it never felt good to her. she got stressed and started to treat everyone with anger, including joji and y/n.
after the break up, the guilt she had for not opening up to joji was hard. if she told him she is a lesbian they would be able to break up without conflict. but of course, she was scared. So from asking to meet up with joji, she asks y/n instead, who she thinks would respect her more as a girl and a respectful person.
y/n:
i never really read it as y/n. her real name is ivy but yk people does those y/n shit so why not try yk.
yes, y/n is pan since the beginning of the story. she met joji from college and she was dating a toxic stinky smelly dusty crusty musty guy that time. But before that, she dated a girl and they both loved each other but they broke up because the girl's parents found out and moved away. she was sad and emo and so she dated her ex which made her feel even worse and then yay they broke up.
y/n's relationship with her parents is a 50/50 because, well, her mom's dead. and her dad blamed her for it and he never wanted to see her again but y/n still sends food and gifts to him because she still loves him as a parent.
joji was a really good friend to her. I wanted to make her not ending up with joji for some reason bc she is such a girlboss but it's a joji fic dude i dont want to be more emo if ykwim. need more joji in the story yadda yadda yadda.
