It was getting later, it was about 9PM.

We were in Ian's van, on the way to Brian's friend's house. The party house. I wasn't feeling that anxious anymore, which is good. I decided not to drink a lot.

In the ride I stared at the streets. It wasn't anything special, it was the same usual street. The dark gray asphalt concrete and the dim warm lighting of the street lamps blending with the cold bright lights from stores. It was nothing special, but I really enjoy staring at it somehow.

It wasn't a short ride. It was about a 30 minute ride. But being late doesn't really matter since everyone was just shitting the hell out of their heads.

Before I knew it, the van started to get slower and slower. I looked over to the driver's seat to see Ian driving, since it was his car, with Brian by his side, telling him the directions.

"We're here, bitches!" Ian exclaimed.

We all got out of the car to hear muffled music and very loud bass drops. The house was bigger than I expected. Brian's friend is gotta be rich.

We opened the big wooden entrance door and got inside. The lighting of the house was dim, and colorful LED lights were used in certain parts of the house. I looked up to see a giant chandelier and stairs going up to the second floor.

"Alright, have fun, people." Brian waved. I decided that I should stick with Niki. I grabbed Niki's arm and held it close.

"Hey, alright. I'll stay with ya." She chuckled.

We walked into the tight crowd and looked around to look for people we may know and anything we can drink that we hoped to not have a lot of alcohol at least. We got pushed around by people dancing around in this dark blue lighting and loud music.

Niki pulled me around, basically. I obviously do not like this. She pulled me into places with much more people and I started getting squished, making my hands let go of her arm.

"Niki!" I called out.

This music. This loud music. I saw a glimpse of her looking back to look for me before I got pushed out of the 'too tight' crowd. I decided to just stay at the kitchen. It wasn't crowded there so I decided to stick around there.

I looked to the fridge to see someone making out against it. I looked away immediately and I knew they left right after they noticed I stared for a sec. I was alone in the kitchen in a crowded party. I took out my phone to text Niki.

"Niki I'm sure I'll be fine. I'll get something to drink. I'm at the kitchen by the way." I sent.

It was sent but she hadn't read it yet.

There were drinks on the kitchen counter so I decided to get one. I took a red empty plastic cup and looked at the drinks I can drink. One attracted me. This orange liquid in a large bowl with those scooping spoons. I was sure it was orange juice. I scooped up the drink into my cup and I sipped it.

It was orange juice mixed with a little bit of Vodka, I think. The alcohol wasn't really strong. It was the right amount. I leaned back on the kitchen counter and looked around. There were giant glass doors which leads to the backyard and the pool. I noticed Joji were talking with some dudes in near the pool.

I knew I was going to be lonely tonight.

"You're all alone?" I heard the voice of a man beside me.

I looked to my right to see some tall guy with dark brown hair wearing a cap and a jacket. His face was highlighted by the blue lighting of the room. I was sort of scared since I didn't know anyone in the party and I was scared that he might make me do things I do not want to do so I backed up a little. Honestly, he was attractive. But I don't know him yet, so I wouldn't say I like him. Yet, at least.
