♡Maha's Pov♡

"Sing with me Scientist" he opened his mouth then shut it."I won't speak to you" I narrowed my eyes at him and bit his jaw. "Oh Maha I'm driving, stop teasing me" I grinned hearing him talk to me.

We had returned to India the previous night, to attend Aadhya's engagement.
So the thing is, today morning, during their engagement,Scientist and I had a very big fight.

The source of the fight is the great spider in our bathroom.

Actually, I'm hell scared of those spiders, so when I went to bathe with only a towel around my body, the sprawled lengthy legs of the spider frightened me. And in a quick run, I was out in our room to ask my Scientist to kill that.

"It scared my wife? How dare! Let me murder it and come" those were the exact words he spoke to me as he was on his way to being a murderer. I waited anxiously until he returned and told me that he had successfully killed that.

With all smiley, I rushed to the bathroom and started showering. I was hell shocked when I saw that spider again at another spot in the bathroom wall. I'm sure it's smirking even though I couldn't see it's face clearly.

Naked, I tried to run outside the bathroom but fell on my butt which still hurts very badly. With all my stored rage, I confronted my Scientist but he was like "What? Really? I killed it Maha, believe me. It must be another spider" but I could detect the lie in his face.

And yes this is the reason for our fight throughout the engagement. I disturbed him until he finally accepted that he lied to me. That's why he is moody now. Scientist is also scared of spiders. So he had just shooed it away back then.

Coming to the current scenario, we both are going to the village where we first met.

I increased the volume of the song that was playing in our car. "I'm a barbie girl, in a barbie world! Life in plastic it's fantastic.." Scientist gave me a mere glance and continued driving.

"You can brush my hair, UNDRESS ME EVERYWHERE SCIENTIST!!" I yelled that part into his ear. He looked at me shocked and shook his head with a smile.

"Scientist, are we fine now?" I softly asked him, while he nodded his head making me kiss his cheeks in happiness. He chuckled.

As soon as our car came to a halt, I hopped out and breathed in ecstasy.
"Let's go in" Scientist snaked his hands around my waist from behind and guided me inside the village.

"This saree really suits you well" he mumbled walking behind me closely. I grinned and turned my face to him. "But without it, you would look more beautiful" I smacked on his forehead and waddled forward.

"Scientist, seems like it's gonna rain" I muttered looking up at the dark clouds. "I love this kind of weather" he commented and scooped me in his arms.

Once reaching the pond, where I used to read books, he softly put me down on the grass that was surrounding the pond. This is the place where I had once cried so much thinking that Scientists wouldn't love me.

Soon when Scientist reclined beside me, I laid my head on his shoulder and wrapped my hands around his torso. "Scientist, it's raining" I felt the raindrops fall on our body slowly at first, but gradually the velocity of it increased.

Maha, do you know to swim?" I looked at Scientist's wet lips as he spoke."Yes"I replied and he pecked my lips before pulling me towards him and jumping inside the water with me clinging onto his chest.

I breathed out, coming out of the water and glaring at my Scientist. He swarm some distance away from me and signaled me to catch him.

I swarm behind him but he suddenly disappeared inside the water. "This is not fair" I yelled as I felt him grip my waist from underwater and emerge up in front of me to my face level.

He took my lips in his and sucked it softly. Pulling away he confessed. "I love you Maha" he kissed my forehead and embraced me in his arms.

This is the first time Scientist had ever said those words to me. I know he loves me so much, but hearing it from him made my heartbeat quicken with joy. "I love you Scientist" I snuggled into the crook of his neck.

After playing for a few minutes in the water, we both walked to my grandma's house. I brought the keys to the house from her just before leaving here, as she was also attending their engagement. 

Scientist slammed me against the wall and sucked on my neck, as soon as we entered in. I stared out the window with a smile.

Scientist nuzzled his nose with mine and glimmered. "Maha..." He murmured burying my face in his chest. "Scientist.." I whispered with a happy tear slipping out of my eyes.                 

Life seemed so beautiful at this moment.
