"So what are we gonna do today?" I inquired him glancing at the spread-out equipment. Watching him do all these works made me want to study the same. I wish to be a scientist too. That would be incredible.

"We will become a scientist family" I twinkled at my thought. "Huh?"  Scientist peeked down at me with a frown. "Scientist family?" He asked and I chuckled at my foolish demeanor.

He thumped upon my head and lifted an eyebrow. "What is wrong with you? First, you told scientist family something and now you are giggling without any purpose. Are you okay Maha?" His voice is laced with concern. Aw. My scientist is worried about me. I smiled dreamily.

So he likes me!

"Maha" he sighed. "Um.. scientist what I inferred is, I want to become a scientist too and so If you will marry me we will become a scientist family." I grinned up at him. He seemed speechless. He opened his mouth and closed it. And then he started to laugh.

"You are so funny" his laughter is so desirable. "You look so good when you laugh" He quit smiling and gazed at me. My butterflies are so enthusiastic in my stomach now. "Really?" He questioned and I grimaced. Then did he assume that I am lying? I glared at him.

"Nope I'm just kidding" I shrugged and he stared at me deadpanned. Oh my god. Now he looks even more handsome. "Mahaaa!" He yelled and I heaved my eyebrows at him. "Yes, Mr, scientist, something wrong?" I asked with a smirk.

He is scowling at me and I'm adoring every second of his wrath. "Scientist I was just playing around, don't get all moody" I attempted to persuade him sensing that he is getting so mad. "I'm sorry" I touched my ears with my hand and pouted sadly but he didn't mind me and squatted down to initiate his research.

Aish!

Dumb Maha.

My enemy is my own tongue. I should make an effort to control it from hereafter. Well now let me try to convince my scientist.

"Hello scientist" I tried to sound as sweet as possible but my voice betrayed me. I know it isn't sweet, it's not even near the word 'sweet'. "Scientist, I have a doubt" He perked up at me in slow motion, "What course should I choose in college to become a scientist?" His lips parted and he was about to reply but I don't know what arose that he turned his head again without providing any reply.

"Scientistaee I'm sorry" I squatted beside him, frightened that he would despise me. "Hmm, apology accepted" he faced me with a slight smile. How charming does he look! If by any chance I will have the next life I wish to be born as a man and handsome as my scientist. I smiled again.

"Now what was that smile for?" He questioned with an anticipatory look.
"Nothing.." I said nervously and he shrugged, again resuming to work. I sighed watching him so concentrated on his research.

"Scientist, I don't know where your house is, how will I arrive there for your sister's birthday?" I asked him and he responded without gawking at me. "I will pick you up at 5 pm, you and grandma be ready okay?" Even his voice is nice, very manly. I pouted appreciatively at his attributes.

"Okay, Maha?" He swerved to me with a frowned face, "Okay" I gave him a thumbs up and he smiled. The time passed by and scientist was too much involved in his research, I asked him that does he need any help but he gave me a stern look which made me go dead silent.

Yet me being me, I began to blabber something again which propelled scientist to see in my direction. "You won't shut up, do you?" He shook his head and gestured me to come closer. Grinning, I went near him. "Stand here," he said and squatted down to work again.

I audibly whined in annoyance, I thought he would lend me some task or anything but he just made me stand like a statue. "Scientist, please I need to help you" I tapped on his shoulder saying that. "You are helping me right now," he said with a chuckle and I twisted my lips in distrust.

Wait, is he implying that me doing nothing at all is a huge help to him?

"What do you mean!" I shouted at him in rage while he darted his eyes to mine softly. "Well, what I meant is, you are protecting me from that burning sun, so of course you are doing a good job in helping me" he winked and turned around again.

Oh.

Stupid Maha! Don't come to conclusions without listening to him.

In the afternoon he went to have his food in the car and I reached my grandma's house to have mine. "Nowadays you are not at all staying in the house" Grandma commented as I started to leave the house once being done with lunch. I gave her a pleasing smile.

"Go go but be safe" I nodded my head and scrambled away. "Scientist I'm back!" I yelled going close to him. "Hmm," He hummed and went on to do his work.

"Scientist, can I ask you something?" He nodded his head. "I want to buy a gift for your sister" He stopped working and veered around to look at me. "So give me any suggestions" I smiled. "She loves flowers" he blurted out and stared at me for a while.

"Don't look at me scientist, you are giving a hard time for my butterflies" He shook his head and said something but I couldn't catch it up.

And soon the sun left us, denoting the departure of scientist. He left me with a nod and I waved my hands as he drove off in his car. I don't know what I feel for him, but he for sure had occupied a special place in my heart.

I like him.
