Chapter 10

After Cam got all the clothes she wanted, they went home. When they opened the door, they saw a woman sitting on the couch.

"Um Hello?" Shawn said. The woman turned around and said "Hello" then went back to watching tv.

"Can I help you?" Shawn said.

"I was just waiting for Daniel to come home. Is that a problem?"

"Depends. Who are you?"

"Julia" she stood up and put her hand out for Shawn and Cam to shake it. Cam put down the bags but didn't shake her hand. "You must be his side chick" Julia said to Cam.

Shawn looked to Cam than back at Julia, who was glaring at Cam, and moved in between them. "What are you doing in my house?" He said.

"Like I said. Waiti-" she was cut off by Daniel walking in to the room.

"Julia?! W-when did you get here?" He looked tired but not sleep-deprived tired. In an after-an-intese-workout kind of tired. His hair was glowing with sweat and messy. Julia walked over to him and examined him.

"Did you just get done with a workout?"

"Sorta.." his voice trailed off.

"Daniel?" A feminine voice said from the hall. A woman in just a towel emerged from the darkness. She had long, brown hair was was messed up and her lipstick was smeared across her face. "Are you coming bac-" she stopped when she saw everyone.

"Daniel?" Shawn said, his eyes shooting back and forth from the two women.

"Dad" he said. He gestured to Julia, "This is Julia" he gestured to the woman in the towel, "This is Rebecca"

"And which one is your girlfriend?" Shawn raised an eyebrow. That made Rebecca gasp.

"Girlfriend?! No no no I was just- we just- I mean-" she sighed. "Daniel, are we dating?"

"Are you two dating?!" Said Julia. "Him and I have been dating for 3 years!" She turned to Daniel. "Does that mean nothing to you? You can just go off and cheat and it would mean nothing? You.. you said you loved me.."

"I do, baby. I do love you. But you were out of town for a while and my needs weren't being met and then I met Rebecca"

What a dick Cam thought. He has a girlfriend, a side chick and he still hits on her.

"I was only gone for two weeks!" Julia yelled.

"We've been hooking up for the last year" Rebecca said, confused.

"You asshole!!" Julia screamed. "I can't believe you! I hate you!! We're done!!" She turned around and stormed out, slamming the door behind her.

"Rebecca" Daniel said. "Go shower. She's overreacting. I'll deal with her, don't worry" Rebecca nodded and went to take a shower.

"What the hell Daniel?!" Shawn exclaimed. "You had a girlfriend and you let her catch you cheating?! You know my life rule and I thought you followed it! Repeat it to me. I need to make sure you know it"

"Cheat as much as you want just don't get caught, that starts drama" he rolled his eyes.

"Right. Also we agreed only when nobody was home and nobody WILL be home in the next 3 hours"

Cam almost scoffed. Like Daniel could make it 3 hours. She thought. He probably couldn't make it 3 minutes. But that's an awful rule but when Shawn says it, it doesn't sound so bad.

"Tell Rebecca to leave as soon as she's dressed. I want her out of my house" he turned to Cam. "Go try on your clothes. Whatever doesn't fit we will return"

Cam nodded and went to try on her clothes. Even though she was technically being held hostage, this life was nice. She wasn't judged on everything she did. It was refreshing and she didn't want to leave anytime soon..
