Chapter 7

Why wouldnt it be Daniel? Cam wasn't scared, she was angry. She wouldn't be able to get out of here for at least a month and she can never get away from Daniel. That alone was bad enough but now she was going to be living with him?! Why is life so unfair? She never did anything wrong! Well ok MAYBE she hooked up with her ex boyfriend's sister while they were still together but THIS as a punishment is too much.

You live here? She wrote on the whiteboard.

"Yup. This is my dad and this is my house" he said with a creepy smirk. Cam cringed and flinched at his every move.

"What's wrong my love?" He took a step closer. Cam took 3 steps back and shook her head no.

"No?" He tilted his head in confusion. "What do you mean by no?" He gestured to the whiteboard.

I'm not you're "love". I'm not your "darling". I'm not yours. We aren't together now let it go.

"That's not as powerful when it's in writing, dear" Daniel laughed. She hated to admit it but he was right. You can't hear the anger in her voice, you can only imagine it and that's not Daniels strong suit. He will never take her seriously. Never has and never will.

Cam rolled her eyes and went to the bathroom and quickly locked the door.

"Cam?" Shawn's voice said from outside. "He was just teasing. Relax" he sounded annoyed. Cam had her phone so she used Google translate to speak.

"I don't care if he was joking. I'm sick if him acting like we are a couple" the robotic voice said.

"How are you speaking?!" He yelled.

"I'm not. It's my phone"

"Oh that makes more sense. But come on out. You'll be fine"

"No. I don't want to be near him please leave me alone"

Shawn's breathing got louder and he started yelling. "Get out of there right now young lady or there will be SERIOUS consequences!!"

"Please leave me alone. I just need a minute to myself!"

In the blink of an eye, a hole was punched through the door with a fist coming through. It was big enough to reach the handle and unlock the door. Cam backed herself into the shower, terrified. Shawn burst through the door and stomped toward her.

"I told you to get out or there would be consequences!!" He raised his hand and Cam ducked but that just made him angrier. He slapped her hard across the face and Cam lost her balance. She fell and hit her head against the shower handle. It didn't knock her out but it hurt, bad. Shawn grabbed her wrist and pulled her up.

"Next time listen to me and this won't happen again!" He stormed out and Cam started to cry. She slumped back into the shower and touched her head. She winced, it was a stinging pain. She looked at her hand. She was bleeding.

Ow.. ow... Ow... She thought. I need to get out of here and fast.
