"Guys, we have to figure out where he can stay. Fury is only giving us a short window before he will be kicked off the premises." Steve stated. The Avengers were placed in a conference room, by orders of Nicholas Fury, until they find somewhere for the God of Mischief that isn't the Avengers compound.

"I say, we throw him in the Sahara desert and watch," Tony snarked. "How the hell can we put him on supervision if we are all away?" Natasha noted. "Which means it's gotta be someone who rarely leaves their home," Bruce added. Everyone looked through the piles of S.H.I.E.L.D paperwork to find an agent willing to house Loki. After finding nothing, Clint jumped up and walked out. Everyone was yelling at him, but he was saying he had found the right person for the job.

Y/N was trying to focus on her coding, but couldn't manage to grasp that spark of energy. Her front door knocked, signaling someone's presence. She pushed herself out of her chair to walk to the door.

"Clint! Whatta surprise!" Y/N hugged him, and brought him inside. "Do you need anything? Shouldn't you be out doing important stuff?" She asked.

"That's what I came here for. I need a favor," He said.
"My family doesn't do superhero stuff, you know that, right?" Y/N rebuttaled. "We were cut off from my Coulson cousins because of all their crazy shenanigans they brought others into." Clint raised an eyebrow, "Aren't you an adult who doesn't have to listen to their mother?"

"Don't try and talk me into something I don't want Clint," Y/N pointed as she went to get a cup of water. "But I haven't even told you what it was!" He pleaded.
She poured and took a long sip contemplating her next move. "I really don't want to get roped into all of your superhero problems right now," she said as she tried to push him out the door. His feet were planted as she pushed against his back, not budging. Her grunts and huffs came to an end when she slumped to the floor.

Clint turned around and downwards to look at her, hair sprawled on either side of her. "It doesn't even involve fighting or catching bad guys. More like taking care of someone who we don't have the time to take care of." She sighed as she sat up, asking for a hand. "Listen, I'm not too keen on this idea of being a nanny," Y/N responded. "We would really appreciate it if you did," Clint pleaded. "It would be the biggest I.O.U of your life," he added. Y/N contemplated for a few moments before saying, "Fine, but I'm choosing what you're doing for me."

In two days, Clint returned with another person with raven black hair that was slicked back and pale toned skin. He was wearing chains that connected to his neck and wrists. The outfit he was wearing was even weirder, consisting of multiple layers of fabric over a green dress with bronze shoulder pads. Y/N gave both men a perplexed look.

She dragged Clint aside and whisper-shouted, "I thought you said dog sit, not people sit." He rolled his eyes, "I said it's like dog sitting, emphasis on the 'like'. Besides, it's not like you've never had people over before." The stern look on her face never faltered, "He's harmless."
"Then why did he come here in chains!?"
"To make sure he doesn't escape."
"So he's escaped places before, and what makes you think bringing him here will solve anything?"
"Because we'll have someone like you looking after him."
"What am I, his mother?!"

Clint gave no response as Y/N groaned in annoyance, "Well, are you going to release him or not?" He unlocked the manacles by his neck, as the man rubbed his wrists.

"Y/N, this is Loki. Loki, this is Y/N," Clint said. Her wave was short and curt, while he didn't look her in the eyes that were roaming her apartment. Clint wanted to slip out in typical Hawkeye fashion, before Y/N caught him before the door. "Don't forget about my payment buster," she said as she bid him goodbye.
