*Chapter 9*

"I thought our Luna was the last one..."

°°°

"What?" I asked baffled.

Their Luna was the last what?

The men began talking to eachother as if I weren't there, I debated waiting for them to finish talking or to leave while I had the chance. I chose the latter.

Silently I made my way back into the woods, trying not to make a noise. Of course fate wasn't on my side as I stepped on a branch and it crumbled underneath my feet. I quickly gained my composure back, and turned around, but was stopped when the men noticed my retreat.

"Wait" one of them yelled out. "Please, just let us take you back to our Alpha"

"Why?" I asked hesitant.

"No one has ever encountered another telekinetic before"

"Another? There's more?" I asked. Their conversation was becoming more interesting now.

"Yes, our Luna" another one said taking a step towards me. "Please. Come with us? Let us take you to Alpha Shane"

I hesitated before asking; "you won't kill me?"

"No" two of them answered at the same time. I gave a slight nod, knowing that this would probably end up to be my number one mistake this month.

"Great" one of them beamed and clapped their hands.

This won't be awkward.

~~~
The men had managed to find basketball shorts to cover themselves with.
Thank god.
"You can wait in here" one of the men told me and walked back and out of the door. I was left alone in a room in this pack's pack house. I took in my surroundings while I sat in the red chair in what seemed like a waiting room. The room was small, a few chairs and couches were scattered in the room with small coffee tables placed here and there. There were a few magazines that littered the coffee tables, along with a few paper cups. A woman sat in the far corner, reading something in one of the magazines. Her blond hair covered her face making it hard for me to see her face, though I could already tell by her clothes, which consisted of a tube top (probably a bra) and a skirt (most likely a scarf), that she was a person who took advantage of her body. Or let others take advantage.
"The Alpha is ready to see you now, miss" one of the men from earlier told me. I nodded slightly and took a quick glance at the girl again. A frown was set on her make-up-caked face and she glared at me.
The man knocked softly on the door to his Alpha's office. My heart beat increased and I began to sweat. Slowly the door opened and I came to face a room similar to Christian's office. My thought drifted back to him.
I miss him.
"Hello miss" the Alpha said, not even looking up from his papers. I frowned and walked closer to him. "Take a seat."
I did as told, waiting impatiently for this to finish. It had been three days. I could go back to Christian now, my pack wouldn't be looking for me there anymore.
"I heard you are a telekinetic" he said. I wasn't planning to answer, but one of his guards cleared his throat, as if telling me I had to. I mumbled a barely audible 'yes' under my breath, and suddenly found my fingers very interesting.
"My men told me you were adopted" he spoke again. It was starting to become extremely annoying, and not to mention rude; the fact that he didn't even look up when he spoke.
"I am" I answered.
The Alpha finally looked up, and when his eyes met mine he gasped. He lost grip of his coffee cup which he had just seconds before taken a hold of, making coffee spill out over his papers.
I wanted to laugh, but decided against it. Alphas tend to get mad easily and I can't see a mate of his in this room. It was just that though, I was also curious to know why he decided to destroy the paperwork he had been so busy with earlier.
"You--" he stuttered. He stood upright, his hands still on his desk. Slowly he took a few steps towards me.
"I?" I initiated hoping for him to continue his sentence.
He took a few long strides towards me, until he was standing right infront of me. "I would like some space" I said while putting my hands on his chest, trying to push him away. He didn't seem to care, and gently took both my cheeks in his hands.
"It is really you" he whispered and I gace him a look.
This Alpha is a creepy Alpha.
"Excuse me?" I asked trying even harder to push him away. His face was like stone. He was expressionless and he looked like he was having an inner battle with himself.
Mindlink.
His eyes snapped back to mine. There was something so familiar with him though. I didn't know what, but something was. Maybe it was his dark eyes and dark hair. I don't know, but he was familiar. I must have seen him somewhere.
"You can see it just from appearance" the Alpha stated. "You look like her you know" he asked, or rather told me.
"Like who?" I asked. I was becoming confused now. He knew me? From where?
"Like mom"
"What?!" I jumped back.
What did he just say?
Mom?
"You look like mom" he told me and caressed my cheeks.
