*Chapter 2*

I left the café and started making my way towards my car only to be pushed to the ground by a guy. He looked to be my age, maybe older and seemed strong built. He helped me up again but didn't say a word.

"Thanks" I said to him and he smiled at me. Nodding he walked past me and into the café. I rolled my eyes, what a jerk. Then I continued walking towards my car. Again, I was stopped but not by the same guy. His arm bumped into mine and sparks shot through ne. My eyes widened and I looked at him. His eyes were amazing, they were drawing me in, it felt like they could see right through me. My heart was pumping 100 times a second and I felt a pull towards this stranger.

"Mate" he whispered and took my hand in his. I froze, shocked. I have a mate. My brain was working in overdrive while my heart stopped beating. I was seriously worrying if I would die right now. My headache was back again and he kissed my hand.

"Mine" he growled and started to kiss my neck. I held back a moan as he kissed the spot between my neck and shoulder. His teeth graced my neck and my eyes shot open. I pushed him as hard as I could but he wouldn't budge.

"Let me go!" I screamed and shoved him away. He stumbled back a little and it was only now that I noticed what he was wearing. He wore dark washed jeans a vlack shirt with a grey motive on and a brown leather jacket. Around his neck hr had an untied scarf and a neclace. He looked like a sex god.

"You're mine" he growled again and stalked towards me. That was when it dawned on me. Mine. He was my mate. I had a mate. How was that possible?

"Dude, you coming?" the other guy called from inside the café. I turned around and saw him coming towards us. He stopped right infront of us and looked between us confused. "What's going on?" he asked.

"He's crazy" I blurted out while pointing to the crazy stranger, my mate.

"MATE" the stranger growled once again and I rolled my eyes.

"You've already said that" I yelled at him over my shoulder. "Could you please make him shut up?" I asked the stunned guy infront of me.

"You're his mate?" he asked stunned. I sighed.

"We've already established that" I told him.

A pair of arms wrapped around me and sparks flew everywhere making me know that it was the hot stranger, my mate;I had yet to know his name.

"We're making a scene" I told them glancing around me noticing a few people who had gathered around us.

"Come on babe, let's go home" my mate told me and took my hand while he dragged me to his car.

"Uhmm, I have my own car"

"Kent will drive it back home. Give him your keys"

"Kent? Who's Kent?" I asked my mate. I didn't even think it would be possible for me to have a mate, seeing as I'm only human.

"That's me" the other guy said while raising his hand.

"I'm driving my own car" I told them. My mate tensed up and turned around to look at me.

"You're mine. You're coming with me" he growled.

"She's human" the other guy, Kent, sang and my mate looked at him and sighed.

"I promise he will take your car back safely" he said softly. His whole expression had changed, he seemed sad. Did he not want me as a mate? "Please come with me"

I nodded and got into the front seat after giving Kent my keys.

"Thank you" my mate said to me once we had started to drive. I nodded but kept my eyes on the road. "I'm Christian, but you can call me Chris." I didn't answer him.

"What is your name?" he asked me and I let out a forced laugh.

"Because that is what you ask someone you just tried to rape in the middle of the street"

"I didn't try to rape you" he said.

"Please. You werelliterally sucking my throat of"

"I'm sorry for that incident. Would you please tell me your name?" I sighed. He was annoyed now. His eyes were slowly darkening until they became black and his posture was stiff.

"Danny. You can call me Danny" I said and turned to look out the window. I managed to catch the small smile that lit up his face when I told him my name though.

"Danny" my name rolled of his tongue making me shiver in delight. God. What is happening to me? "It's cute. I like it"

"T-thanks" I managed to stutter.

His car pulled up to his 'house' and it was huge, I'm guessing it's his pack house. It was a four story white house with a huge garden and a huge garage. Noticing how I use huge a lot? Yeah, that's because everything was huge. Everything was at least 5 times bigger than at home. The house was also surrounded by a huge forest.

"You okay?" my mate, Chris, asked me. I nodded in reply and watched Kent pull up with my pick-up-truck next to us. Jumping out of Chris' car I made a B-line towards mine. Hugging it, I could finally relax again. I heard chuckling behind me and said annoyed;

"Can't a girl and her car have some privacy?"

They burst into a fit of laughter and I turned around to face them.

"Listen here you two. At no point is it okay to laugh at a lady. One day you-" I said pointing to Kent "-are going to find the perfect girl, but then poof-" I made a dramatic hand-movement "-will destroy it all by laughing at her!" I exclaimed loudly.

"You're right. I'm sorry baby"Chris said after their laughter had died down and I frowned.

"Don't call me baby" I protested and turned around walking into the house.

"Why not?" He called running after me.

"Because, I'm not your baby" I stated in an a-matter-of-factly tone.

"You're my mate. You're my baby" he growled and put his hands on my waist.

"Human" Kent sang again and Chris sighed.

"Listen. This will sound really crazy but I really need you to listen to everything and try to understand. Okay? The thing i--" I cut him off;

"I get it. You're werewolves"
