*Chapter 4*

I pulled back as soon as I heard someone come into the room. We hadn't really kissed, our lips had slightly touched, but nothing more.

"Alpha, there's an important phone call for you."

Alpha?

"Alright. Give me a minute" Chris growled at the poor guy making him look scared to death. I furrowed my eyes and looked between them in confusion.

"Alpha?" I asked them. "Who's the alpha?"

"I am" Chris said. My mouth opened in shock and my eyes widened. I hadn't noticed the power that was radiating from him. Not before now. Humans can feel the power from an alpha or a beta. They just don't know why they're powerful. They tend to be afraid of them.

"Why didn't you tell me you're an alpha?" I screeched at him and pushed myself away from him.

"I forgot?"

I scowled at him and turned around ready to walk away from him. His hand clasped around mine and he pulled me back into his chest.

"I'm sorry" he sighed and smelled my hair. "I have to go. I'll ask my sister to show you around."

"Your sister?" I asked and he nodded;

"Her name is Ariana" he told me. "I'll tell her to meet you here." Kissing my forehead he turned around and walked upstairs. Sighing I flopped down on the nearby couch and sought for the television controller. Turning it on I started watching a show called 'One Three Hill'.

I woke up lying on the couch with a girl staring straight at me from the other couch. A little freaked out I sat up and smiled carefully;

"Hi"

"Hey! You must be Danny! I've heard so much about you! Or, not really, my brother met you only a few hours ago, but still! I'm Ariana! Nice to meet you!"

"Hi" I said again, stunned.

"Let me show you around! She exclaimed gleefully and jumped up from the couch.

"Kay" I said and stood up. She beamed at me. Man she was happy.

"Come on. Okay so, this in here-" she pointed to another room connected to this with a door-portal "-is the kitchen, and down in the basement we have the game room, gym, and of course a bathroom were you have the access to showers. In the second floor you have bedrooms for teens and unmated weres as well as for the third floor, though there are more guest rooms there. The fourth floor is specially designed for only the alpha and beta family."

I continued to nod as she was talking and making all these weird hand-gestures.

"This is Kent and I's room, and just across the hall here is Chris' room, which is yours now as well."

"I'm going to share a room with Chris?" I asked her.

"Duh. You're mates!" she told me in an a-matter-of-factly tone.

I let out an 'Oh' and walked further into the room. It was huge.

The king-size bed with completely white sheets stood in the middle of the right wall. It was painted a dark wood and tge same were the bedside-tables. All the walls were painted a bright beige color and the floor was of bright wood. On the bedside tables were a lamp on each. They were white with swirly black design.
