I woke up with an aching body, I tried stretching my hand to reach for Dabi but instead I was welcomed with an empty, cold spot beside me. I groaned in disappointment; I was really craving his warmth to soothe my sore body.
I threw the sheets off my body and immediately shivered due to the cold air hitting my skin. I tried standing but my legs instantly gave out and I fell back onto the bed. Not being able to walk is a small price to pay for the intense last night activities. I started to lightly flutter my wings enough to levitate through the halls and find Dabi.
I mentally thanked no one in particular for the castle having wide halls and big rooms so I could move my wings freely. I might start doing this instead of using my feet, walking is overrated anyways, I thought while I made my way to the kitchen where I suppose I would find Dabi.
And just as I thought, Dabi was in the kitchen facing the counter. He was shirtless only wearing some sweats and a pink apron, his scarred and now scratched back exposed to the air. I bit my lip remembering the events from last night, Dabi must've heard me because he stopped what he was doing and turned around to look at me. "Morning angel," he greeted me with a smile on his face.
I stopped moving my wings and landed on my feet when Dabi approached me and wrapped his arms around me in a warm hug, kissing the top of my head. "Look at you, cooking and everything" I said, "I thought Chiyo was the one who did the cooking around here." After letting me go from the hug, he lifted me from my waist and sat me on the counter.
"Well... I wanted to surprise you and bring you breakfast to bed but here you are. Oh and I gave Chiyo the day off so we have the whole castle to ourselves," Dabi responded. The thought of him wanting to bring me breakfast to bed made me wish I was still in bed sleeping but I would've missed the sight of him in a pink apron and that's priceless.
"Aww thank you, and I'm sorry I ruined your surprise. I can go back upstairs and pretend I'm sleeping," I jokingly said which made him softly chuckle and smile. Just seeing him smile made me so happy. I could stare at his smiling face my whole life.
"No no, it's fine. You're here now and we can still have breakfast together." He kissed my cheek and went back to cooking. I admired his focused features with loving eyes, I can definitely get used to waking up to this every morning.
"So... since we have the day to ourselves, what do you want to do?" I asked, breaking the comfortable silence. I honestly didn't care what we did, as long as it's with him. Dabi plated our breakfast and placed it on the dining table, then came back to the kitchen and scoped me up in his arms and also took me to the dining room, sitting me on my usual spot beside him.
"I was thinking of maybe going out to this cute cafe I've been wanting to take you to and then we can come back and chill in the library like we used to do. How does that sound?" He glanced up at me with hopeful eyes while taking a bite of his food. He looked like a little puppy waiting for it's owner to praise him, adorable.
"Like a date?"
"Yeah, a date" We both smiled and lightly blushed. Finally being able to do all these coupley things we've been wanting to do for years, makes me so happy and excited. There's a lot of things I want to do with him.
"Yeah, I'd love that." I responded, really looking forward to our first date like an official couple.
We both quickly finished our breakfast and went upstairs to each of our rooms to get ready for our lovely date.

The both of us were strolling through the streets of hell, holding hands like normal couples do. Dabi insisted on walking instead of driving because he said the cafe was near the castle, but I know it was because he wanted to show me off. Well, more like show I was off limits to the other demons but who cares about little details.
After a few minutes of walking we arrived at a cafe that also looked like a bookstore. It had bookshelves filled with different types of books and little coffee tables here and there, it was beautiful. "I know that reading is something we both have in common, so I brought you to a bookstore that is also a cafe" Dabi said, "You can pick whatever book you want and I'll buy it for you. You can even put it in the library at home. Do you like it?" He asked me, looking at my face for any hint of dislike, in truth, he was nervous. He'd been planning this for a long time and wanted everything to be perfect.
"I love it." I said with excitement. I was like a kid in a toy store, my eyes were shining like stars. The cafe was quiet and calm, a few demons in some tables peacefully reading. Dabi took my hand and led me to a counter where there was a barista waiting to take our orders. I told her what I wanted and quickly took off in the direction of where the (your favorite book genre) books were.
Dabi just looked at me longingly and chuckled quietly, he thought that it was adorable how excited I was. A smile plastered on my face while looking through my favorite books. After paying for our orders he went to find an empty table for us to sit.
After I chose some books to read and went back to the table, both of us didn't talk much. Instead we enjoyed our drinks and each other's company while reading, it was honestly one of the best dates I've ever had and thinking how this could be an everyday thing made me so excited for the future.
A couple of books and hours later, we both decided it was time to go home and have some lunch. "Give me the books you want to take home, I'll pay for them and we can go. Wait outside for me, will you, angel?" Dabi said while standing up and offering his hand to help me up as well.
I nodded and made my way to the front door, as I exited I was welcomed with a gust of hot air hitting my face making me want to go back to the cool air of the AC inside the coffee shop. I looked from side to side and spotted a red winged angel coming straight to me.
I rolled my eyes and turned my back to him hoping he would get the hint and leave me alone. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I quickly slapped it away. "What do you want, Keigo? Wasn't I clear when I told you I never wanted to see you again?" I angrily said, what does this bastard want?''
"I know, I know but I need a favor. After this I swear I'll never bother you again." He told me, sounding genuinely in need of help. I didn't want to help him and honestly he didn't even deserve it.
"Fuck no. After everything you did, you don't even deserve an ounce of help. Get lost," I was gonna go past him and inside the coffee shop back to Dabi, when I felt his hand tightly grasp my arm, stopping me from getting any further away from him.
"Please, don't make this hard on yourself." He whispered, making me confused about what he was talking about. I was about to look at him and asked him when suddenly he hit a sensitive spot in the back of my head, instantly knocking me out.
Before Dabi could come out and find out what happened, Keigo threw me over his shoulder and quickly fled the place making his way to the hideout.
Little did I know that I wasn't talking to the actual Keigo.
Just when he was out of sight, Dabi exited the coffee shop and looked around for me.
When he didn't spot me anywhere he started to panic, thinking about the worst case scenario. Maybe a demon took her, I shouldn't have left her alone. I'm so stupid.
"Y/n?"
