New chapter in honor of Dabi's birthday today :)

CW: gore, blood, arson.

3rd person POV:

Toga came running in a panic into the hideout, going straight to where Tomura was sitting and hiding behind him. "Toga, wha-" Tomura tried talking but cut himself off when he saw Dabi enter too, with a furious look on his face and scorching blue flames dancing around in his palms. His whole self in general was screaming danger.

"Tenko, where the fuck is my angel?!" Dabi angrily screamed, making Toga quiver on her spot and ran upstairs to her room. Tomura just sat there with a smile on his face, loving every second of what was happening right now.

"Is Tomura now, and y/n... well she's in the basement." He answered with a shrug of his shoulders, like if it was the most obvious thing. This only angered Dabi more, he stretched his left arm and sent blue flames to a broken dresser in the corner. Tomura didn't even flinch at that, almost like he was expecting it. His sick smile stayed plastered on his face through it all.

"What did you do to her?!" Dabi's voice was dripping with venom. Any person (or demon) that heard him talk right now, would piss in their pants and run away from how scary it sounded; but Tomura acted like it was just any other day. Perhaps it was because he already knew Dabi and what he was capable of or because he already went nuts and he's not afraid of anything. Probably the second one but who are we to judge?

"I may or may not have taken one of her wings or both" Tomura said with a little giggle after. Dabi snapped and quickly walked up to him, grabbing the collar of his shirt and bringing him to his eye level.

"You did WHAT?!" Tomura started hysterically laughing in Dabi's face. "You deserve to die!" He yelled at him and with his right hand punched Tomura square in the face, knocking him down instantly. He would take care of him and Toga later, right now he needed to know if his angel was okay.

With quick steps Dabi searched for the door that led to the basement, and once he did he didn't hesitate on going in and hurried through the stairs. Once down, he found another door, this one black. He opened it and what was on the other side broke his heart.

Y/n POV:

I have been sitting here for what felt like hours, constantly fading in and out of consciousness due to the blood loss; those bandages that Tomura wrapped me up did little to nothing in controlling the open wounds, if anything it only made it more painful. Every little move that I did hurt like hell, even breathing hurt.

The paralyzing drug had started to fade away, not completely though so I still couldn't move certain parts of my body. My head hung low and silent tears flowed down my cheeks, forcing open my heavy feeling eyelids. I'll just take a little nap.

The sudden loud noise of the metal door opening, brought me out of my tired trance and made me look up to see if Tomura came back to torture me more. Instead, I was greeted with an all too familiar face, making me feel relieved to finally be able to see him. At first, I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me due to my tiredness, but when he started to approach me and gently cup my tear stained cheeks; I knew it was real, I knew he was here with me. He came for me.

"Hey, y/n are you okay? What did he do to you?" Dabi asked me, with worry in his voice. He started to examine my face and moved downwards, looking for any injury until he got to my backside and found two poorly wrapped wounds where my wings should be. So he wasn't lying, he thought while getting up and walking around me so he could have a clear view of my injuries.

Too tired to speak or move, I just let him carefully burn my restraints and walk back in front of me. "Can you walk?" he asked, looking around hoping to find my missing wings. Alas he didn't. I shook my head in denial, the drug hasn't faded completely and walking would take me a lot and we needed to get out of here as fast as possible. I still don't know what happened to Tomura and I don't want him ruining my only chance of escape or even hurting Dabi.

Dabi nodded and carefully carried me in his arms, being mindful of the wounds in my back. I lazily wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face in his chest, taking in his comforting scent, oh how much I missed it. I finally closed my eyes to rest a little bit feeling safe in his arms, letting him take me out of here and back home with him, where I belonged.

Dabi walked the both of you out the abandoned building, not without sending some blue flames here and there to burn the entire thing down to ashes, and Tomura with it. He waited for some minutes until the whole building was engulfed in blue fire, to make sure Tomura wouldn't get out of this. Nobody fucks with my angel and gets away with it alive, he thought while walking as fast as he could without disturbing me as I slept in his arms.

Dabi walked to his club that was somewhat close to where we were, making some phone calls and having a demon that worked under him to bring his car so he could take me home.

In the meantime, Dabi was in one of the private rooms with me sleeping soundly on his lap. He also changed my bandages with new ones from the first aid kit of the club, though he couldn't do much in fear of hurting me more or waking me up, so he decided to let Chiyo treat me properly once we were at the castle.

I woke up in what I assumed was Dabi's room though he wasn't here. A sharp pain from my back woke me up fully and I remembered everything that happened, my wings, Tomura and Dabi saving me.

I walked to the bathroom and examined my state in the mirror, the bandages seemed freshly changed and I wasn't wearing the same clothes as before, instead I had a silky nightgown making it easier to treat and change the bandages without the need to take it off. I guessed that Chiyo was the one who treated them and changed my clothes. What a sweet woman.

From the bathroom, I heard the door of the room open and close. Walking to see who entered, I was surprised to see Dabi standing at the entrance with a tray full of delicious looking food. I didn't know how hungry I was until I saw the food and my stomach growled in hunger.

"You're finally awake" Dabi said while walking towards the nightstand to put down the tray. I followed his movements with my eyes and after he said that, my expression changed to confusion, I thought what happened was yesterday and I slept just through the night but it seems I slept more?

Dabi noticed my confusion and answered my unspoken question, "You slept for a little more than two days. I didn't wake you because I thought you needed the rest after everything you went through." He sat down on the bed and looked at the tray of food, "Chiyo changed you and the bandages by the way. Anyways, you should eat. You haven't eaten anything in two days, I figured you might be hungry when you woke up so I brought you some food."

"Thank you," I said. My voice came out hoarse and quiet due to not using it for over two days and all the screaming from when Tomura... yeah.

After that thought, a frown formed on my face and sadness took over me. Dabi was watching me intently so he noticed my change of mood. "Hey, I made (favorite food) I know how much you like it." He said, in an attempt to lighten up the atmosphere, and it honestly worked because I was so hungry I could eat anything.

I walked back to the bed and sat next to Dabi, he brought the tray to my lap and we began to eat together in comfortable silence. If I was honest, I didn't want to talk that much, I was still taking in everything that happened and the fact that I didn't have my wings anymore.

After we both finished our food, I laid back down on the bed still feeling exhausted. Dabi followed and pulled my body closer to his where my injured back was against his chest, I could feel his body warmth soothe my aching back side helping me to relax and fall asleep easier in his arms.

The last thing I felt before dozing off was a gentle kiss on my head and a whispered 'I love you', making me fall asleep with a small smile on my lips.
